If he signs here where will he play? 4th string power forward? He isn't coming here folks, this is why Phil should not have been so quick to signing energy guys. They are not special, triangle or no triangle. Period.
I agree the kid will not make the rotation, but we could send him to the dleague and he might become a traceable asset.

No d league, I would try to obtain his rights and send him to europe

I think they can only obtain his rights if they draft him.

Who is our third string center?

Simply stretch Calderon
No because tht would further our backcourt woes.

Are you high? We are not putting a 6-8 guy at center. Smh

Are you high? Have you watched the NBA finals? He's taller than GS center, during their small ball lineup. He's a keeper. Forget about where he fits.....He's a player you add first and figure it out later......before someone does. He's very...very raw, and he's already an impact player. He doesn't even know how good he is. But I'm sure agent(s) are all over this dude as we speak.

Clearly he can't get over the usual stereotypes.

Are you serious? We are now comparing a Ndour to draymond Green playing sporadic minutes as a C. Wow.

Do we play ssmall ball? No we don't.
Is there such thing as a sign and stash?
You make a verbal agreement with him, since he wants to play overseas, supposedly. Next year he comes in with Hernangomez and they replace Thomas and Amundson, who are more like transitional players this year.
You also have no idea what Williams will do with his option next year. If he does well here, he might want a larger contract elsewhere, who knows.
Ndour might be more than an energy guy, though. He seems to have a polished game, as well as the wonderful athletic measurables.
Some have said that the reason he is here is because we said we would have him even if wants to play overseas next year. The year's delay works fine for me.
Next Year
C Lopez
PF/C O'Quinn
PF/C KP
C Hernangomez
SF/PF Ndour
SF/PF Melo
SF Early
SF/PF Williams
G Aflalo
G Grant
G Galloway
G Calderon
3 slots left...for 2 guards and 1 front court player?
Am I missing anyone?
It might be worth it to keep Ndour around as a backup PF/Center. Depth be damned if Ndour can play like that semi reguarly keep him around and see what happens.

The problem is that rolo has a bad injury history and he will likely end up playing decent rotation minutes at that spot and he is no draymond green(Yet!) So he would be an easy target for bigs if he were to play there. As I said, there was bound to be somebody who would show out. And surprise surprise somebody did and showcased a lot of potential. Phil has a team of pros with him so I'm sure he will figure this one out.

Not suggesting he is simply an energy guy. I'm suggesting that lance and Lou who were signed were energy guys who were unnecessary to be signed right before summer league.
Im afraid this kid is gonna get scooped up by someone else. Id sign this dude asap. He's outplayed Ledo and Thanais....

Thank you for having common sense cause we don't get much of that around here.
