I've also settled on KP for a while now. I started with KrisP back before the draft, which made sense at that time since we didn't really have the recognition of what just KP would be referring to. However now it's a good solid and lasting way of referring to him which can fit when he's no longer a kid. KP is what i'm sticking with.

When Pirates announcer insisted on calling Roberto Clemente "Bobby", Clemente took it as demeaning his Puerto Rican heritage, and his status as a man. Clemente was correct in feeling that way.

If Kristaps prefers Kris, why the need to impose juvenile nicknames on him?
