They also just signed Jackson. Wroten?
Wow, Philly must believe in the kid! What do 2nd rounders usually get? 2 years?
And was he even a rookie or ?
They said he is a streak shooter. After that signing we had under D'Antoni (from a nice practice session), - no more. Was it Roberson we signed who was great in practice? lol

It's the smartest contract in the nba Only 1.5 yrs are guaranteed and the team has rights to you at the minimum for 4. Total commitment less than 1mm

Actually, I seem to remember reading an article about those kinds of contracts- agents really hate them (understandably)- I think Philly is the only team insisting on them because Hinkie is an asshole.
Glad to see Scottie make it but I hate he signed that contract. I'm sure he just wanted to get in the door though and he is still young. He'll only be 26 in 4yrs.
good lil player who was known for being a great defender in oollege. last yr was wasnt forcing the action. this yr he came out firing...and hitting

Dejuan Blair had one of those and could've made good money if it was only 2 year's. Hey who's going to complain if you're not drafted. He's got a great job and nearly 2 full years of guaranteed cash. At worst he saves his money buys a nice home and plays in the NBA for 2 years. Stay away from the 90k $ cars and expensive clothes. Is look around and spend 90% of it on a home-- look for a more expensive foreclosure and get yourself a good deal. If his basketball career collapses he has a degree and a nice paid for home. Can still become very rich that way from that age.
it is a horrible contract for NBA players
it is a good move for Sixers but the player loses all leverage
especially for a franchise that constantly trades for assets as they will do because they have 50 draft picks in the next 7years and have to with the draft picks they have
If you do well, you become an asset, then have to find a new home, while getting underpaid for 4years of service with the rise of the cap next season
IF you do not do well, you get money for the first season that is partial guaranteed
