Knicks · The last two spots--Id like to see if we can get involved with Nogeuira and E Green (page 1)

Toronto brought in Biyombo for 10mm and already have Valancius--so one of these cats is not getting run.

I really liked the defense rebounding and passing both
Nogueira and Green showed this SL. Both passed the ball beautifully played great defense rebounded and had great efficiency. Instead of using our roster spots or TPEs on players who may have little to no value--why dont we search out and see if teams would be interested in trading either some of our younger guys like Early Thansis even the C we just drafted(for Nogueira) Noguiera's play was off the charts good--and no one noticed because it was not talked about. If anyone watched he looked like a rookie Noah out there--I just dont think we have a guy like that in our organization including the guy we just gave 13mm$ too(who has never avg 1 assist per game in his career) Green played a tough brand of defense played long dished out 20 assists and only TO 2 while shooting efg 70% and 15 a game in 24 minutes.

In some ways these two guy were the MOST efficient two way players in ALL of SL. They both have very nice length for their positions and I think may be undervalued even to their own team--I mean why did Toronto get Biyombo or Denver draft Mudiay if they believed strongly in either.

I really watched a lot of the SL and some people can poo poo it but I think its a smart way to atleast get a clue about how a player might evolve.

Right after our pick I said I thought we should go after Andersen Powell and Atkins because of their DEFENSE and I knew they each had diverse offensive skill sets with huge athletic big bodies that would compliment and enhance what we had. Its the players you like on June 26 that count--not before that time. Now after reviewing SL if I had any say--these tow guys IF they can become available--this is where Id look at to fill spots. Im not sure were getting ANYTHING with anyone else--no one on our SL team was consistent NO ONE with the exception of Porzingis. Im not even sold on Grant although I think he was the 2nd best prospect on OUR team.

I can understand your interest in some of these other players but what's with the doubt about Jerian? He was one of the more impressive players in SL. He wasn't looking to be a ball hog SL Star. He was running his team as he was instructed. What is it about Jerian that has you still on the fence?

ehh...i dont think nogeira is that good. reminds me of thabeet (uncoordinated and lost in the game of basketball).

E. Green is nice...but summer league nice. im not sure how that translates to REAL bball. he has Russian Bball star written all over him. i dont take the summer league too seriously in terms of stats and play. i just like to see the new guys and how/IF they can adjust to better players than NCAA

i really wanted J. Jenkins (a shooter) but i can live without him knowing his defense is so bad.

i would like to get another big man - maybe seraphin for cheap

if not stay pat; keep ndour and keep some roster spots open

If were talking playing a team game using the triangle--I like both of these players. I really liked Nogueira perhaps unknown? passing abilities his rebounding and his overall defense. I don't think the expense of either player would be high but the potential payoff could be.
