Didn't he play pretty well in NJ? I haven't heard anything about him since.

no. he was pretty bad.

Lots of talent in Europe, pretty sure we can do better, younger anyway. Would like the Knicks to find players the same age as Grant and Porzingis, to build a foundation.

I'm told all of these reports have been absolutely false all off season so stock that in your kool-aid and drink it

Well thank god cause I was worried about giving a roster spot to a guy who hasn't been in the nba for years and isn't worth a spot on any nba roster

And how! I mean WTF--we're talking to retired players now?!? That's the plan after letting at least 3 solid viable SG options go by the wayside?? There's a lot of things I just don't understand at all here--I think it's time for another town hall meeting!!

Why are we talking to Sasha? He's played 2 NBA games in 4 years and he's 31 years old.

Doesn't say why they talked to him. Maybe they wanted to know how to pronounce his last name.

From Berman...

There also is a report out of Europe the Knicks have spoken to 6-foot-7 shooting guard Sasha Vujacic, who played in Turkey last season. Vujacic, 32, played for Phil Jackson with the Lakers and has the same agent as Fisher.

A triangle VET, Phill will search the globe for those types, remember his first move as Pres/GM was signing a washed up ODOM.

Per Berman

Ledo was a riddle. He gets to the basket easily and had a decent jumper. But often he made poor decisions, carried his dribble too high and attempted to fight through traffic, often resulting in turnovers, especially in Las Vegas (2.6 per game). After being signed March 19, the former Maverick averaged 7.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 19.4 minutes in a dozen games.

31, been playing in EUrope, played for phil, has rings, was married to Sharapova, and they just talking.

Nobody here is really qualified to judge his conditioning and how he feels. I won't lose sleep if they sign him.

No need to over react to a twitter report by a guy just trying to get more follows and boost his hits on the Internet.

I repeat....every Internet report this off season has been false. All they do is get fans pissed off and calling Phil a fucking idiot, then turns out it's not true or it never happened.

Grain of salt

Welcome to the information age. We went from baby boomers having limited information to the new generation having too much information. Right now in time is when these two worlds colide.

I agree, it's just information being reported since there isn't anything exciting to talk about.

The guy with the tweet is legitimate. I believe he works for eurobasket. He doesn't post sensational stuff or inaccurate stuff that I am aware of.

Frank Isola said greg Monroe was a lock. Then Monroe basically says he never considered the Knicks at all.

Reports said the Knicks were going to trade the pick and we were high on trey Lyles.

Not one rumor that the Knicks were trying to trade for another first rounder.

Reportedly, LaMarcus canceled the meeting worn the Knicks then LaMarcus came out and admitted the Knicks canceled the meeting.

Anybody who drafts Kristaps based on a mixtape should be fired. Then it turns out the kid is good and the virtual unknown was scouted for 2 years by the Knicks.

Melo hated the draft and is angry. Phil won't communicate with him. But Kristaps comes out that melo texted him on draft night and was involved in the interview when he had his workout.

Not one report that the Knicks were interested in O'Quinn, Derrick Williams, Afflalo or Robin....

i know I'm missing something but I'm just tired of all these nobody writers posting garbage just to get more his on the Internet.

after saying all that, if the Knicks signed Sasha so be it. That would make it 95% of all reports are inaccurate against the knicks

Would much rather sign Dorrell Wright UFA, to a vet min deal, would not mind signing him for a 2year deal for value
Possibly 1st year fully guaranteed and non guaranteed for the 2nd year, however, I do not want 1year players that we would develop for the Triangle and watch them possibly leave, needing a team option for 2nd year

At 6-9 to 6-10, he has the size and versatility to play SG, SF, and even some PF against SF's that play PF, and was once a SNIPER from the 3pt line
A VET with great length, good athleticism, with experience as a backup or spot starter when needed, that will be 30years of age in FEB
With his physical abilities, he provides STEALS, some blocks, and rebounding, in addition to being a floor spacer, as a poor man Danny Green for value

He's signed with the Knicks:

Knicks, Sasha Vujacic Agree To Deal
July 31st at 1:11pm CST • By Chuck Myron
The Knicks and Sasha Vujacic have agreed to a one-year deal, league sources tell Shams Charania of RealGM (Twitter link). David Pick of Eurobasket.com reported Thursday that the sides had engaged in talks. The 31-year-old has appeared in only two NBA games since the 2011 lockout, but it appears his connection with Knicks team president Phil Jackson, Vujacic’s coach when they were with the Lakers, has drawn him back to the Association.
