Papabear Says
The Boston Celtics have waived guard/forward Zoran Dragic, the team announced Monday.
Dragic, a 6’5” guard/forward, was originally acquired by the Celtics along with a future second round pick and cash considerations from the Miami Heat on July 27, 2015.
The Knicks is loaded at the point guard position and we need give minutes to J Grant to develop.

We only have grant and Calderon. Galloway is a SG.
Doesn't matter anyway because zoran is a shooting guard/ small forward.
Now if you can just change the Z to a G, and you're onto something.

So two weeks ago the Celtics paid cash and a 2nd rounder to cut him this quick???
How much was the cash, I mean this looks like a pure salary move.

I think Boston was helping Miami out and got a 2nd round pick for it. I read that Dragic wants to play overseas again.

Correct, Boston got the pick and cash and Miami got tax relief.
