The Trade seems exceptionally bad for us.
But, I do like the title of this thread.
That's a salary dump and Melo, love him or hate him
should be a higher asset value than Iso Joe alone.
Cleanthony has not shown to be worthy of a "believe" affirmation let a lone shown he is an NBA player.
My hope is knicks are playoff bound and Iso Joe wants to stay in NYC and takes a vet min to stick and play to contend so long as he is bought in to the culture.
I doubt that happens and not sure it should either.

The Nets are a Jersey team. F*** the Nets and anyone who loves them.
Would have to include picks, not just a salary dump. Iso Joe doesn't have value and his numbers are perpetually going down to oblivion each season, where Melo still has some ball left in him.
1st round draft pick included in the trade with Brooklyn, and it'd be a good move.

Brooklyn has no first round picks for like the next three years. They traded them all for Joe Johnson, Pierce and KG and Deron.

Melo can fetch much more than Iso Joe in any trade scenario.
I didnt see the part of why a trade like this SHOULD happen.

You would have to get more than that. Also, I am not sold on Early at all. I really liked the pick but Early hasn't looked good as a knick. Hope he can at least become a rotation player but I think he needs some time in Westchester.

Well this thread was a total let down. Horrible trade that would and should never happen.
