Amen.....No this is a reason to have 9 or more pages about something. But as always, good things never attracts a crowd driven by negativity.
This is the true definition of a leader.....Hope others follow!
Despise him on the court, but it's starting to be very difficult to dislike the guy. Tremendous act. The world would be a better place if others stepped up the way Lebron has.
His infinite Douche swagger aside, there's nothing bad I can say about this move to basically send kids to college for free.
Good move, good press, good cause.
Wow. That is just awesome.
he finally has some smarter guys running him.
that 42 million will translate to far greater earnings aside from it being a hefty tax deduction.
I'm sorry, but we are talking about 42 million? I responded earlier and I'm still in shock. I was thinking 4 million at first, 42 million?
This guys has some good financial people watching over him.....The way he negotiates contracts and everything has been on point. And he's due for a huge payout next year.....He could get the same or more than Anthony Davis, if thats what he wants.....Or keep getting these short term deals, which I always thought was risky.
Absolutely a tremendous effort by Bron..But don't sleep on guys running their own schools like Melo and Jalen Rose..Takes huge coin and commitment as well...
I herd about this the other day I believe isn't this partnership with citibank? or something. If not citibank some other bank was mentioned, either way it is a great thing to do.
Thats quite a scholarship fund. Cant remember an athlete being this generous. What an amazing gesture.
Wow. That's fantastic.
I may just have to stop rooting against him after this.

The donation promise is coming from the Lebron James Family Foundation. It is certainly a great job by James on this, however it does not mean that the entire $42 million will come out of LBJ's pockets. James is likely the leading contributor to his Foundation (I have yet to view any financial statements), however Non-Profit organizations also have other Donors and run fundraisers and generate income (and have expenses) in other ways in order to generate funding towards their primary focus (in this case different philanthropic category targets called "Seasons" each year).

Melo donated/contributed to a practice facility at Cuse but also has a school/youth development thing I believe in Baltimore...I remember posting it over a year ago..Jalen has a school in Michigan..
That is a great job by Melo. Marburg was also extremely charitable
