Man I like Wroten! I think he'd be nice attacking the rim.

I like him to. I figure Canaan and Marshall are the sure things. They could make a trade but I think they end up waiving a pretty good player.
Alright, they have six point guards. A question here, is any one of them is their future franchise player? If none, all of them could be shipped away by Hinkie when a deal is appropriated.
Needn't be franchise - in the rotation makes sense - specially if they are 20-23 years of age.
If JC goes down we could use a young Dynamo to slash and play D and complement Galloway and Grant.
Keith Pompey is speculating that it will be Wroten and Marshall at the point with Canaan getting a spot to hold things down until both guys are completely back from acl injuries. That would mean Pierre Jackson probably does not make the cut.
I'd snap up wroten in a second if he got cut. He's a pretty dynamic player.
Mc Connell had a good game today against the Nets. Brett Brown seems to really like him. I think the Knicks need to monitor what happens with the sixers. I think guys like Jackson, Wroten, or Canaan are better prospects than Thanasis. I also love Marshall's game.

I just wish TA could get some sustained PT to show what he can do, esp. while Afflalo's on the mend. We basically know what Sasha can offer--I don't need to see much more of him at this point. Let's see what TA can bring. He might be a better option.. I think he could bring a lot to the table--supreme athleticism, transition play, standout defense and contrary to popular opinion, he can score. If I were Fisher, I'd absolutely have to find out more right now. I honestly think this guy's a rotation player. It's almost like they're against finding out--holding back on him for some reason. First game DNP, 2nd game only a couple of garbage time mins. We could be sitting on one hell of a useful player here.

I've said this for different players on different occasions, too.
Even said it to myself during SL when I wondered why this or that player on our SL roster was not getting any playing time.
That's the problem with closed practices...impossible for anyone to see how certain guys are playing.
Have to assume that Fish/Phil are not seeing certain things from Thanasis, and if they are giving Early some decent minutes and not the Greek...that is really telling.

I go back and forth with my opinion on Thanasis. He brings a ton of energy, plays tough d and blocks shots. But he doesn't look that different from the guy I watched in the d league two years ago before the Knicks drafted him. I think if the Knicks have a shot at Pierre Jackson, Kendall Marshall, Isiah Cannan or even Wroten they would need to consider filling the fifteenth spot with one of those players. Grant/Galloway makes the need for another young point guard not as big but I think that is a very talented group of young players.
Clips played Pablo 30 minutes with Paul out. Have to wonder if Hinkie moves one of his points there for a future second or something.

How about Calderon for Crawford?

Makes some sense as they are in championship mode and probably want an experienced PG.
I hope we snag one of the sixers guards for vet min
