He's certainly sticking to his usual pattern- monster in his contract year, injured bum once signed

The rest of the pattern continues as well.

Not good- didn't he have the one in his other knee removed a few years ago? He was playing very well this year, so it's a shame.

First time all year Curry did not score in a Q he played in.

Ish Smith is making Philly interesting to watch.

Ah, the power of a good PG.

Okafor coming off the bench tonight. Is that because of injury or Ish/Noel?

I don't think it's a surprise they won a game Okafor missed. Dude is absolutely terrible on defense

Not sure that I am but I would love if the Knicks signed Wroten. Also, I think it was a good move to trade two second rounders for a guy they need and should have kept. They had to waive some of the guys they got with all of their second round picks. Turning that into a player that can play and helps them is a good move in my opinion.

I think I'm the one who has been pro-Ish a lot on here. He's played really well this year. He played great for New Orleans while Jrue Holiday was severely limited and Tyreke Evans was out. His efficiency stats are not good, but he changes the pace of the game and he's made Philly a lot more fun to watch. They won his first game, lost a close game in Utah last night and are winning in Sacramento in his third game. He's averaging 18ppg and 8apg so far and the Philly coach has raved about him.

It's the type of move I'd like the Knicks to make - bring in a PG who switch things up for them. Whether that's Wroten, a D-Leaguer, a trade or smuggling Shved out of Russia... whatever.

Ish Smith!

Philly 2-1 since trading for Ish Smith. 1-30 before that.

18pts 9ast tonight on 50% shooting. He's averaging 18ppg 8.3apg there.

I love when MDA picks a new protege PG.

Raving over Ish

While the Sixers are sad to see Wroten go, the team has been beaming with excitement over Smith's return to the franchise.

They initially acquired him in February off waivers. The Sixers, however, didn't re-sign him in the offseason.

But he jumped back in Saturday night like he never left in the 111-104 victory over the Phoenix Suns at Talk Stick Resort Arena. The Sixers' first offensive possession ended with him throwing an alley-oop to Nerlens Noel.

"I couldn't have scripted the first play of how it started any better," Brown said. "Then when you look at the end result, you couldn't have scripted that any better.

Brown said at one level the team is excited because it has a new boost.

"On another level, you wish you had it a while ago," he added. "Ish is a fantastic late addition. People on the outside can assume, but we all know in here how timely it really is."
