was here most of y'all could not wait to get him out the door!!!!Woodson and Grunwald cobbled together a raggedy team that won 54 games but fell aged out by seasons end. Is that what you want? A short term patchwork team or a real team?
Knicks are only building a base at this time, that's still a big job!
This seems to have some legs to it. Would love to see D'Antoni with Isaiah Thomas but not sure how he would handle all of the dysfunction in phoenix. A Suns blogs is posting trade scenarios involving moving Tyson and why other teams would give up good young players to have the luxury of 33 yr old Tyson and his 4 yr 52 mil contract.
Oops not Thomas.
MDA would have Brandon Knight this season and ideally Eric Bledsoe back next season. I think he could do well with that lineup.

Also, that makes Kief for Anderson a much better deal.
Klay Thompson has 20 pts and the 1st quarter isn't even over yet.
Another player some would have liked on the Knicks.
Wonder if he's starting to break down?
Tough luck for him.

I have never seen anything like that.

I wanted him and/or Danny Green. Green has been awful, and Carroll has been sub par and is now out. I'm glad I'm not the Knicks GM!
I think he can be traded January 15th - it seems almost certain he will be... (I want no part of him on the Knicks)

Hard to imagine how many millions of dollars he will lose because of his problem when (and if) he signs his next contract. You also figure that he's lost some of his marketing gigs, too.
So do you want Chicago to stop rolling or to move a .5 closer to Boston?
Gotta be the latter, yes?
Some D-League guys got called up by the Grizz and Suns

We ain't catching Chicago - we need to catch Boston. I'd like Boston to keep slipping.

he's already lost $13mil- as part of the Denver/Rockets trade he agreed to make the final year of his contract(next season) non-guaranteed. No way he'll smell anything close to that

Dude believed in himself and the Rockets coming close last year would have been an attractive decision at the time. An expensive one mind you as the kid has not shown that his game is on the mark.
Not sure how a GM can waste an entire season on a retiring player.
Have to believe that what Kupchak is really saying is:
"I am not going to publicly humiliate a player who has done so much for our franchise, so I can't come out directly and say that giving Kobe so much playing time will help us "tank" and keep our valuable lottery pick in our hands and not Hinkie's, but yes, that is what we are doing."
