I compared his shooting stroke to reggie millers ant nothing wrong with comparing shooting strokesBut the fact he is on atl he'll get a lot more open looks
My big fear for the knicks is that we start zero penetration jose no defense caldron . Guy is a great backup aweful starter at this point in his carreer. Grant and kp are the future they should start from day one
Seriously though no jose in Starting line up is key to our winning unless he's at the 2 guard

It's going to take some serious impression but I'm right there with ya.
Grant is hand down our best option at the one

WTF makes you're take smart? How do you know how the kid is gonna perform? He's got talent and he's more mature than most rookies. What in particular do you think is gonna stop Jerian from having a good rookie year? No one is saying he's gonna be perfect but he can have a good ROOKIE level season. It's not impossible as you seem to be implying. You sound like you've never seen a player have a good rookie season.

I just hate F'n lazy ass posting. Step up your F'n game or STFU!!! You do this BS all the time and it's freakin annoying. You aren't as funny as you think you are and you aren't as sharp in your points as you think you are. Put some damn work into your posts for a change.
In your opinion mreinman is a good poster. Look mreinman doesn't need a F'n bodyguard. He needs to step up his game. IMO most of his posts are lazy and don't add much to the conversation or back up his points. What did he write that really provided any insight into why he has "low expectation" for Jerian?ALL ROOKIES have a lot to prove that isn't saying anything enlightening. Being a rookie doesn't mean they can't have good Rookie Level season. We all know that rookies aren't going to be playing at their best in their rookies seasons. You guys talk like Rookies never play well, which most surely isn't true.
Most players will get better but he has enough talent and BB IQ to have a good season for a Rookie. Gallo has less talent and had a good rookie season. No one is saying that Jerian is gonna be an All Star in year one. No one is overhyping Jerian. He's a talented young player and he has a chance to be a productive part of this team.
Do you even read these threads before you start stalking me? You have this habit of interjecting yourself into my conversations with others and trying to lecture me about my posting style. I've told you to stop doing this before but you keep doing it.
Still waiting for mreinman to explain why Jerian can't have a good rookie season simply because he's a rookie. Apparently there's never been a rookie who played well in his rookie season. Surely there's never been a Knick Rookie who has played well in his rookie season.

AND NO I'M NOT SAYING JERIAN IS MARK JACKSON!!!

Phil had a good draft and I really liked his picks. However, its silly to over expect so much from these guys out of the gate. NY fans have such a hard time being patient. This can take a few years.

Why are you predicting a "bumpy rookie" year for Jerian? Is there something specific about him that makes you think he'll have trouble adjusting and having a good rookie season? See unlike you others are stating the reasons they feel Jerian could have a good rookie season. They are talking about his maturity, skills, physical talent and BB IQ. You have yet to offer a single reason to support your take.

WTF??
Please tell me why we can't win 65 games. Other teams have won 65 games.
You have yet to offer a single reason to support your take.
cause he is a rookie.
if you looked at the last 100 guards that came out, what percentage of them do you think were good out of the gate?
chances are far far better that he will struggle that play well.
I actually really like the kid and the pick but I am not stupidly gonna over expect anything from him.
I remember you arguing with everyone last season about how good larkin was gonna be .... wrong as usual but you sure spent lots and lots of time explaining and screaming at everyone about why you were right.

I like the pick a lot but smartly, I have very low expectation from him as a rookie.
You sound like you've never seen a player have a good rookie season.
wtf? its a fukking prediction .... geez
I've told you to stop doing this before but you keep doing it.Still waiting for mreinman to explain why Jerian can't have a good rookie season simply because he's a rookie. Apparently there's never been a rookie who played well in his rookie season. Surely there's never been a Knick Rookie who has played well in his rookie season.
AND NO I'M NOT SAYING JERIAN IS MARK JACKSON!!!
its a fukking prediction!! Of course he can be a star.
I predict that he will be a bumpy rookie. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ

So basically you're just going with the odds and cliche's. No real points to make just lame percentages! I'm done with you. There's nothing to your posts.
Also stop exaggerating about what I was saying about Larkin. I wasn't saying Larkin was a lock to be good. I liked him as a prospect in the draft the year before we got him, so year I was high on his potential but I was just saying he does have talent and it would take him time to adjust to playing a different way. He was never a pure PG who could pick a team apart. He is a PnR PG relying on his quickness and that's pretty much what I said.

I think once he is past the stage of trying to stick to the strict rules of the Triangle and realizes the ways he can score and let's his natural instincts take over, he'll be fine.
Hey if Phil Pressy makes Larkin look bad--then it's up to Shane to play up a level before the real deal starts. Give me a 13 point 6 assist game with less than 2 TO'sMeh! Pressey is in a different situation. I'm pretty sure Larkin would look more comfortable in a PnR based O which is his strong suit coming out of college. This system is totally different for him. In a PnR set he would be more aggressive since that is the nature of how a PG is expected to run a PnR play. Now he has to hold back his aggression, pass off and wait, read and react which is a totally different role.

maybe you should try lame percentages. They will get you much farther than your stupid points.
