Not being critical...just my comment about the fact that he actually had the money on him to by some spun sugar.

Immature? Yes. Dumb? Yes. Unprofessional? Yes. Are some people most likely going to get way bent out of shape over this? Yes.
The guy needs to do some serious soul searching though. His talent has gone to waste right before our eyes. Some of y'all were begging on your knees for him too.

On the one hand, we all know JR is immature.
But on the other hand, there is a certain freedom in that. I can't judge a guy for buying cotton candy. (Healthwise, not a great thing but his choice.)
I actually admire people who can live life a bit free and innocent like. (Not to confuse that with JR - I just mean he shouldn't be judged the way he is imo, but really no one should.)
I think professionally we have to draw the line for sure, but not to the point of making life all in a suit and tie either.

There is a certain freedom to the way he lives..I have a few female friends like that...They think I'm crazy being defined by the structure of how others think things should be..
I am uber critical of Smith, but I'm coming around a bit on this particular story.
It was pre-season, so the games are meaningless. I figure that some of the fans thought it was cool that he was doing this.
If this was regular season or a playoff game, I would feel differently, but other than setting a poor dietary example for the impressionable younger fans and perhaps annoying the health conscious parent who sees his choice of spun sugar as setting a bad example, and I'm thinking that this was a pretty harmless action.
But wouldn't cotton candy fingers make it difficult to untie shoes? He's hamstringing one of his best talents.
