and he was having a great game... I was watching thinking we were going to have a hell of a team that year

I was at the game with my two work buddies. We just looked at each other when it happened. We knew it was over.
It was exciting at the game... he looked fantastic. I think he had like 20pts and 17rebs? But it was pre-season! No telling how things will turn out, it could've happened in the third regular season game... but at the time it just felt absurd.
Pretty good news on the injury front -- Afflalo cleared to play and ready to make his debut (did he even practice today?), Zinger's said to be 100% and is set to play Sat. and it looks like O'Quinn was just held out for a 'recovery day.' Any news on Seraphin's knee?

If you go to Knicks.com to watch the practice videos from today you can see he practiced. There's also an interview with him

yeah, Afflalo - sorry i was replying to your question about whether AA practiced today
Saw this on twitter. Not sure if it is the same video.
Here's the link to Afflalo being interviewed at practice:

Here are the highlights from today's practice:

I just watch all the Knicks interviews from practice instead of read most of the beat writer's articles now - it's easier to get a feel for the context of the quotes. Like you realize that any time Berman asks a question the players get totally pissed off because they know he's trying to write some BS story.

Awesome. Thanks. The interview with Afflalo was a lot better than the couple of quotes I saw in the articles that are on the home page.
I'm actually more on the positive side when it comes to our shooting guards. When healthy, Afflalo brings good defense and is a pretty decent scorer as well. He isn't perfect, his stats are not great, but I think he will come through for us.
Galloway's shooting % will improve this year and he will bring really really good defense.
Injuries is a big concern and it could have a big impact on our teams overall win loss percentage.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if you meant Seraphin but it looks like he's a go for tomorrow too. Lookin' good -- close to 100%.
There's just something different about them this year. I even enjoy watching their practice videos!
also it seems any KP "injury" is pure precaution, no doubt to avoid anything lingering and quite frankly to baby him. I think this is the way to go

KP sounds antsy and you can tell he thinks it's over the top but I agree, it's the right thing. he's had a couple of issues so far--no need to push it in a preseason back to back.
