If LThomas keeps playing defense like this, I won't have a problem having him on the roster.

He actually had an adequate jumper as he got more and more playing time last year.

WP76 @ 10/16/2015 8:36 PM
Will they stop the game to commemorate the milestone if Thomas makes a shot?
herkyJerky @ 10/16/2015 8:37 PM
LMAO Calderon all up in Isiah's mud.
crzymdups @ 10/16/2015 8:37 PM
DWill with just a pure J from the top of the key.

Yeah, that was a nice J.

Melo with another block at the rim. Whaaaaaat?
crzymdups @ 10/16/2015 8:39 PM
I don't know if I can remember another Knicks game where Melo had two blocks in one half.

HALFTIME
NYK 54 BOS 47

Nice close to the half. This is regular season intensity for the most part. Don't mind some of the ugliness when they play hard on D.
herkyJerky @ 10/16/2015 8:40 PM
I guess Melo meant what he said about defense. Hopefully he doesn't get tired of that shite hahaa.

I'm not sure I can remember another season in which that happened.

I'm trying to imagine this team if Sasha and Thomas got the Thanasis treatment.

He is pretty intense for a preseason game. It might be smart of Fisher to watch his minutes. Those blocks were awesome.

Yeah he'll be fine. Just in a slump. It happens. He's only a reserve so gotta keep it in perspective. He's gonna have his moments this year.

Rolo sets a great screen.

I'm just glad he's not using that reverse karate chop anymore, or as much, to block shots. It looks fun, but you know it's fodder for foul calls.

What's amazing is almost everyone says this but he rarely has ever gotten called for a foul on those blocks because they're so clean. Its weird.

herkyJerky @ 10/16/2015 8:48 PM
If the Knicks can keep scoring 50+ points by halftime during the regular season, they'll be in good shape.

That's true. But sometimes it's best to quit while you're ahead, or at least to not abuuuuuuuuuuse.

This is just me wondering - but I wonder if Melo watched stars around the league while he was out and couldn't play like Lebron, Durant, Curry, Westbrook and saw all the effort they put into the defensive side of the ball.

Maybe Bron reaching the Finals with Shump and JR was sort of a wake up call?

Maybe not but just a thought.
