Let's all just take a step back and start there.

Jae Crowder is no pushover. He has put the straps on Lebron James before. He has Kwahi Leonard potential.

Strange, don't see any 4-18 performances from Lebron here:

Sure doesn't look like he got strapped at 47% FG shooting for the series sweep.

Yeah, but LeBron's on PEDs. I mean, everybody knows that. That's why he went down to Florida for his rehab, right before Tony Bosh got sent off to prison, and then came back looking like he was 22 years old again.

6.5 assists per game. Must be that the guys he is passing to just hit their shots while melo's teammates always miss off his passes. hhhhmm

wait .... melo avg'ed 1.6 freakin assists a game! Now that is the new teamwork that we have been waiting for.

That said, 1 assist just isn't trying. Need to get 4 to 5 assists a game to be even considered a team player. Kobe's done it, Paul Pierce has done it. NO excuses.

the triangle if run properly should garner him 4 to 5 assists a night. i just hope all involved show patience with the process of becoming good, since melo's buying in will be pivotal.

I don't understand, why is it so excruciating that Melo is not on LeBron's plane of existence? Apparently, neither is anyone else. Is everyone still crying about the fact that LeBron didn't come to the Knicks? Seriously?
So you're saying that anyone on any team, given a significant amount of PT per game obviously, who does not produce 4 to 5 assists is not a team player? You're saying that every player on a starting line-up should be averaging 4 or 5 assists per game? And if they're not, what then? Get rid of them because they're not team players?
Let me ask you this, and be honest: let's say Melo, by All Star break, is averaging 3.5 assists per game with 47% shooting from the field. Would you find something else to critique and complain about?

of course he can do that. He did that twice in denver.

I don't care about FG though. I want to see 57% TS and 4 assist per. I have no doubt that he can do this easily if he is willing to give up a couple of his forced shots and/or contested long 2's per game.

Actually 1 time only, if we're being technical. 2006-2007 season in Denver is the only time with over 47% FG and 3.5 assists or greater.

Sure doesn't look like he got strapped at 47% FG shooting for the series sweep.

6.5 assists per game. Must be that the guys he is passing to just hit their shots while melo's teammates always miss off his passes. hhhhmm

wait .... melo avg'ed 1.6 freakin assists a game! Now that is the new teamwork that we have been waiting for.

That's the excruciating thing. Everyone on Planet Earth and Mars knows Melo isn't on Lebron's plane of existence.

That said, 1 assist just isn't trying. Need to get 4 to 5 assists a game to be even considered a team player. Kobe's done it, Paul Pierce has done it. NO excuses.

47% and 3.5 assists a game from Melo? Good luck with that one!

of course he can do that. He did that twice in denver.

I don't care about FG though. I want to see 57% TS and 4 assist per. I have no doubt that he can do this easily if he is willing to give up a couple of his forced shots and/or contested long 2's per game.

Actually 1 time only, if we're being technical. 2006-2007 season in Denver is the only time with over 47% FG and 3.5 assists or greater.

a bit too technical?

Let's all just take a step back and start there.

Jae Crowder is no pushover. He has put the straps on Lebron James before. He has Kwahi Leonard potential.

Strange, don't see any 4-18 performances from Lebron here:

Hey, I'm not the one bringing TS into this!

cause FG is empty and does not diff between a missed 2 or a missed 3. There is not a dumber stat out there.
