Knicks · Is it too early to be euphoric? (page 1)

I don't think that we could have started any better.

Melo way off and the team still plays great. He did other things.

So many positives and so happy to have KP. 12 fta!!! and solid defense

Defense was tenacious.

Galloway has blown me away.

Anybody miss hardaway?

mreinman @ 10/28/2015 10:36 PM
did that just freakin happen??

122 points and melo could not throw it in the ocean ... wow!

franco12 @ 10/28/2015 10:38 PM
I'm encouraged.

I think Phil looked for players who could be 'sum is greater than the individual parts' talents- and I think he's done a nice job.

Its a long season, and the Bucks might be a bad measure.

1-0 is certainly better than 0-1.

I couldn't agree with you more. The defense I saw tonight and the IQ level are the best I have seen in the longest. My God, KO is a stud. He is a hell of a passer; he sees the floor like a PG. he reminds me of Rasheed Wallace minus the three ball

CrushAlot @ 10/28/2015 10:50 PM
Not too early but the last time this topic came up the op for that thread thought fans were too excited about a 13 game winning streak.
TPercy @ 10/28/2015 10:52 PM
This is quite concerning for the Bucks. How you they hell did they let thomas get 11 points??
Clean @ 10/28/2015 11:01 PM
Enjoy every single win because as we know from last year they can be few and far between.
nixluva @ 10/28/2015 11:10 PM
Tomorrow will be a different test since the Hawks are strong at guard and they can shoot! The Knicks may be a bad matchup for the Bucks this year even with Giannis and Parker.

I made a thread comparing this team to the 54 win team and even tho it's one game and I don't expect a big win streak or 54 wins, I do think this team is gonna surprise the analysts who predict a losing season. This team just has a toughness and depth that I think the analysts have overlooked!

there wasn't one second of any game played last season that we look this good. Kp shot 12 FT, that was our total almost every night last season.

You got two 7 footers in the lane,

mreinman @ 10/28/2015 11:36 PM
KP interviews like a 15 year smart vet. Incredible, and his english??? how is that even possible?

Agreed. The knicks have really good shot blockers and the bucks are a team that likes to work inside through the PnR. The Hawks might not be a bad matchup defensively since they like to run and then score inside, but I think teams that like to shoot from the perimeter (and are good at it) will be tough for the knicks

Yeah it's gonna be a very good test for this team. The good thing is our bench should match up very well in terms of quickness defensively.

The coaching staff has also did a good job tonight
StarksEwing1 @ 10/29/2015 1:01 AM
Bucks were missing parker and the greek so we definetly had a advantage. However im very happy from what i saw. KP and grant had solid debuts and so far im wrong about the derrick williams signing....he has been great
gunsnewing @ 10/29/2015 6:53 AM
Can't wait to see Affalo over Vu. Great win. That's how you play basketball the right way. They mustard up 122pts offensively without Melo. Bucks missed Giannis but he would've have made a 20+ point difference. KP & DW are the best Knick players we've had in a long time. Definitely my favorite Knicks along with O , Gallo & Grant. Every thing we expected out of KP as a matchup nightmare came to fruition. He's gonna make the game easier for everyone
Silverfuel @ 10/29/2015 6:56 AM
I think KO is going to be the biggest +/- guy this year. Also, can Derrick Williams really keep this up?
gunsnewing @ 10/29/2015 6:58 AM
Guys like Vujevic l, LT & Amundson give this roster a great balance of vets and youth. They really push the young guys
gunsnewing @ 10/29/2015 7:04 AM
Last time we played his kind of basketball was when we had A fresh Jason Kidd here. This was the antithesis of a Mike Woodsob team.

He was statistically the best player in the NBA last night so probably not.
