Use Jose as a 5th or 6th guard. Take the pressure of him and the team. He's a spot player--using him as a starting PG coming off injury at 34 is ludicrous. Galloway had 20 assists and 1 TO in pre season is a solid 3 point shooter defender and can hit the three.
It's not a BAD idea, but I would rather not have to do it, but at the same time it's looking it might be our best bet. I definitely would not be upset by it, and I have a lot of confidence in Gallo. I was just hoping that something like this wouldn't have had to happen so damn soon. But yeah, he has a pretty decent jump shot and he's pretty much a killer with 3s. Obviously a better defender. He doesn't even have to play that many minutes at the PG if Grant is one of the first guys you bring in off the bench.
Great, another thread.
Jose played 18 min. Grant played 28 and Gallo 25 min.
Grant is the one who should start; but that won't happen until our record is 3 and 17. Fisher is not that good of a coach nor that Calderon is that unselfish to go to the bench a la Iguodala or Noah.

Instead of creating another thread.....its easier to simply reply to my post on starting gallo, which was posted this morning.
I agree- and its less the speed or offense and more the defense and athleticism he brings.
Calderon needs to go to the bench or waiver wire.
