Ok, so Minny is the only team to have a worse record than us last year so we'd be second in line. So that's good...Regarding the 2nd tweet -- does that affect us? I don't think we have either--we're over the cap and I don't think we have any trade exceptions anymore, right? Or do we?
i concur. ive always been a big fan of green
is he really 6-4 though? or 6-2, 6-3?

A few of you guys have mentioned this. I never considered the need to do this. Is it mandatory before picking someone up? I guess it would make sense--there was a deadline before 15-man rosters had to be finalized. So what's the official word on this -- do you have to wait for 10-day contracts to commence before you can sign anyone? What if we chose to sign someone right now for the rest of the year? Could we do that or do we still have to wait for 10-days contracts to start? And when does that start again? December sometime?
I think you are committed to paying a guy more salary if you don't wait until the ten day contract. I am not exactly sure how it works but teams generally wait. The Knicks did that with Gallo last year.
We need a good young PG--this kid is perfect--really its a steal. The little bit fo extra salary he makes is not comparable to actually acquiring him. I dont think its in an NBAs team to be cheap on min contracts. This is like finding Galloway last year. You sign him to a 3 years minimum contract with only the first year guaranteed to we keep his rights for a couple of year.
Galloway if he breaks out this year will be paid big. BIG mistake we made when we couldve secured him with multiple non guaranteed years.
What makes Galloway so viable is his OUTSTANDING defense and toughness.
What is Green's reputation defensively? I know a knock on him is that he's not a great athlete and I don't believe he's known for his creativity/passing.

Can't figure that out. If we are over the cap with only 14 on the roster I'm pretty sure there is a way to give someone a minimum type salary.Just not sure on this.

6'1.5" without shoes...6'3" with them. These are 2013 measurements.
