"I prefer you guys talking about me than my teammates,’’ Calderon said. “It’s OK, keep talking about it. I’m OK with that. Whatever happens will happen. I want to win. I want to help this team, and [it] doesn’t matter if I’m starting or coming off the bench. It’s all right. [If] you guys [are] talking about me, [you’re] not talking about the Knicks and us losing. It was good for us. I know my weaknesses. I know my strengths.’’
Im rooting for the knicks and he is a knick.

I prefer him contributing as he should to help us win games.

Unrelated, but kinda related:
Still rooting for the Knicks no matter what, but definitely in spite of Hose-A!

Look, was it a mistake for Pete Sampras to retire from a legendary career in tennis and attempt an NBA career? Yes. But now that he is on our team, of course we root for the guy.
Did you watch the post-game show yesterday? Nice tid-bit about just how important Sampras is to the team. With Fish ejected, the MSG guys reported that it was Sampras on the bench who was coaching and encouraging the team. Though his game may be off (and I feel strongly he should go back to tennis), there is no doubt that Pete Sampras being on the Knicks is a great plus to the team.

GNot only is he well spoken, but he is historically one of the best shooters in the league. He will come around. And in this system excellent shooters are highly valuable. Now , is he clutch? That's a whole other discussion.

I'm pulling for him to play much better since it will only help this team. If Jose plays better it helps to give Jerian more time to develop and get comfortable. Gotta hope that if Jose is hitting his shots and playing better overall along with a healthy Afflalo that the team gets a major boost offensively in the Starting Lineup.
