KP was getting great looks in the mid-range in the first quarter. Knicks never went back to that. He can just shoot over anyone. Especially the 6'9" Williams - he's got 6 or 7 inches on that guy.
Really it was just the bench running some of the worst offense I've ever seen that killed them. It was a terrible job by the bench. You want to kill Fish for this game, you gotta kill him for how he handled the bench's play tonight.
I woulda brought in Sasha for some continuity and to give the offense more structure - he's actually pretty good at getting guys in their spots in the Triangle.

There are ways to get him the ball where he is in better position to score. You have willing screeners in Lopez, KP, Lou, etc. No reason they can't be put into play, and no reason why he has to end up with a contested 20 ft J with a defender in his face.

I have no problem with your best shooter taking the last shot but I don't understand why we can't have Melo run off a double screen or an elevator screen (two bigs closing like elevator doors on Melo's defender).
I would prefer ANYTHING to simply tossing the ball to Melo and asking him to create against the other team's best defender + the other 4 defenders.

Tonight Fisher rotation was all garbage, especially the 4th quarter rotation.
Fisher coaching tonight did not show any type of confidence in the closer-players that got him a 4-4 record.
Rookie Zingis and new players Afflalo, Amundson, were not supposed to get playingtime minute in the 4th quarter (Dolan type of coaching).
We lost a 10 point lead quick in the 4th quarter because Grant, Galloway, and Lance didn't know what to expect from Amundson & Zingis in a lineup.
What happen to the 4th quarter 8 man rotation that got us a 4-4 record.
Calderon being on the tradingblock gets 5 to 3 minute in the closing quarter.
Melo $124M contract gets 8 to 7 minute in closing quarter.
Lopez earned 8 to 7 minute in closing quarter.
Quinn earned 8 to 6 minute in the closing quarter.
Galloway earned 8 to 7 minute in the closing quarter.
Lance earned 6 to 5 minute in the closing quarter.
Grant earned 6 to 5 minute in the closing quarter.
And D.Will was suppose to replace Sasha as the 8th man in the 4th quarter rotation if the guards weren't in foul trouble.
