Wonder if the 15th roster spot is being left open for him.

Don't believe we've heard any rumors so far about any other players being looked at by the team. Maybe they're waiting to see if ANY DL player catches their eye.

Almost better for a guy like Trice to play a good number of games in the DL than to be on the end of the bench with the Knicks if he's only going to see a few minutes a game. In theory, though, you could sign him if you're worried another team might go after him and still let him play in the DL where he can log 30+MPG.

Was impressed by him in his first DL game...will have to watch the 2nd.

My concerns with him... Was he getting to the basket off his dribble?...and How did he do defensively if he was matched up against a taller PG?

Does Trice benefit from Jimmer being NOLA? It seemed like he was going to be playing the point in Westchester.

Watched the 2nd Westchester game on YouTube.

One of the announcers mentioned that Summers might be on the squad to be a Carmelo type player, and it sure looks like he's been given a lot of freedom to shoot the ball. He seems redundant on the present NY Knicks roster, though, but I can see another team taking a chance on him.

Some decent play from Thanasis, but nothing that makes him worthy of being signed by the parent club. He's playing with energy, though. Did have a great high flying lob pass dunk off a Trice assist, but did not look good from the outside.

Atkins looks small. Has a very good jump hook in the post-he's a very small PF with some muscles but no bulk. Did NOT look closely at his perimeter D. He can block shots, but again- he is not a big player.

Have seen very little from Saunders...disappointing. It is clear to me that he's probably reading books to prepare for his Masters Degree, and not working on his game. Priorities...priorities.

Trice has started slowly in both games, and then come on strong...taking over at certain times during the second half of each game. You get the sense that he could be more aggressive with the ball, but is not trying to do too much. Good range on his shot, and he has a nice "split the seam" midrange J. He can go left and finish, but has missed some of those shots, although he's looked fluid doing it. He's made some very nice passes, and does a nice job pushing things on the break. He's not big, but is a pretty tough defender, and seems to be strong for his size, especially his lower body.

I think that if we had Summers last year, he might have be given a 10 day contract after Melo got injured, but I don't see a need for him now on this roster.

We know that Phil is not a fan of small guards, but I can picture Trice as an energy type guard who you bring in every now and then to give the team a spark. Has a good shot, can pass the ball, and he seems to have the BB IQ you want for a PG, or "Lead" Guard.

I'm predicting he gets a shot with the bit team at some point in the future, although it will be less likely if Calderon continues to play well and Grant shows progress as the season continues.

He's lights out from beyond the arc too!

Either which way, it'll only be if a couple of guards are hurt.

Can only dress 13.

Wouldn't it be nice to package a few guys off our bench, say Seraphin, Calderon and DWill for a big upgrade at the guard position?

Who's going to give you a big guard upgrade for those guys?

And more importantly, why?
