I'm not totally absolving Karl from this situation either though. He knew how much Divac likes Boogie. He shouldn't have taken the job if he knew there were going to be problems like this. And why the hell did Divac fire Malone in the first place when they started out last season looking pretty decent? Seriously, if someone knows something about that weird decision, let me know, because that didn't seem to make any sense either.
Agree on all points. If you have to decide between Cousins or Karl you have to pick Cousins. Also, Malone appeared to be doing a good job and Cousins liked him.

Yeah man, that whole situation was just ridiculous. Either way they could've went would've made sense to me. They hire Karl and then trade Boogie, or they have no intention of trading Boogie and either don't fire Malone or hire someone who is not OBVIOUSLY going to come in and start trouble with your guy. And then they bring in Rondo of all people to play with Boogie? It was like one move to the next made less sense than the previous one. Clearly another organization trying to drive their fans absolutely crazy.

A buddy of mine covered Karl as a reporter in Golden State. Karl was a young guy then but had problems. Not going to get into his issues but you keep Cousins. Not hiring Coby Karl as an assistant had to be a message to Karl.
