I feel like it's been a constant of Melo-era Knicks teams to take the foot off the neck and start playing not to lose once they have a lead of about 10 points with under five minutes to go.
I think this will be the case all season.....Until KP learns how to keep his foot on the gas. Melo needs KP to be Batman.
It seems that Fish went to isoMelo for the last few minutes even though he was forcing it.

KP has kept his foot on the gas since his debut...the kid never stops
I was happier with the loss in Charlotte than I was with this win . . .
I don't know about yall, but tomorrow will be a good day at work. This is always the case after a win!
Is it me, or does Rebecca look a lot better right now.

That's the NBA. Sometimes you have feel good losses. And sometimes you have icky wins.
I feel pretty good about this game.
KP had fricking 29pts and 11rebs. Those are franchise player numbers. Melo had 29pts and 13 rebs last game. When was the last time we had two players this good at the same time?
I love this game. KP getting points as a secondary player. So many players assisted him and that is what he needs.

You've got your Knicks win beer goggles on, sir.
Great game and better coaching by Fisher tonight

if they had scored just 2 or 3 points in that 5 minutes stretch I would be okay . . .

Nah it wasn't ISO MELO. The Knicks just didn't get great shots but it was also the Hornets D was taking away the basic looks the Knicks wanted and made them take tough shots and they didn't drop.

She asks the most annoying questions!

The more confident Carmelo gets, the better he will finish the forth. He is our closer; as the season progresses, we will improve Asa team. I am loving our big 3
Nice TEAM win. Melo was a leader tonight. I did not think he forced it at all at the end.
It is an exciting time to be a Knick fan.
Again

Just think about the fact that we have KP6 and Melo for the next three years. They'll learn how to close these teams out and find the way to get buckets when they need them.
I honestly think the "Por-Zin-Gis" chants unnerved the team a little bit. They didn't score in-between those chants and when KP came back in the game to his those FTs.
knicks now at .500 . . . but gotta avoid losing all 4 on the upcoming road trip
We need to play these uniforms for every home game... What a game for KP .. I can't believe fish took him out for that little stretch... That was stupid
