Things we need from within
A. It is imperative that BOTH Oquinn and Lopez play and help. I have no idea what is going on there--if someone is hurt then keep them out. If Oquinn is playing the triangle wrong--give him reps--but we cant give up on him. If Lopez is hurt--just rest him and get him fixed--were 12 games in and this is a marathon. We can live with Admundson and Seraphin if Lopez needs time.
B. I have the same problem with Williams--if he needs to go down to the D league to learn the triangle and play 40 minutes to get his rtythmn send him down for 3-4 games I consider the D league a friend not a foe--not a punishment. A small rehab or developmental process.
Bring back Summers if he is playing that well--we have the 15 roster spot.
I think we should shop Early around for a 2016 2nd rounder we can include his salary but I just dont see it here--we could use his open roster spot. The Sixers would take him.
I think with the incredible parity other than something small--I dont see anything that can help improve the team that is feasible right now. Right now we need to get more out of our current assets. If we can get those 3 guys giving us consistent minutes--thats what we need some consistency on offense--we seem to be playing good D.

Lopez is not a stat sheet guy.
As far as I'm concerned his presence has had the intended effect. HIs focus on defense is infectious, like it was in Portland.

You can only dress 13 in the NBA.
What would the Knicks use Early's open roster spot for? Another, different player not to be on the active roster? What sense does that make?
Same with Summers. You can't play if you can't dress. Summers is already playing basketball the one place he can for the Knicks. Why call him up to join Early in a suit?
Injuries are gonna happen. Early's time will come.
KO strikes me as an outspoken guy; thus, he might have said something that got him in the doghouse with Fisher. He needs to play, because he brings to the court a lot that we will need later. He is a hell of a passer, rebounder, and enforcer.

On one of the games, when he was taken out, he showed displeasure. When there is smoke.
I would give Early time in Westchester...needs to play. Give him a set of goals to work on, and let him play 30MPG.
Doubt if they sign Summers and he gets any minutes on the parent team.
Have to put Williams in a position to succeed. He needs to move without the ball and I don't want to see him at the top of the key having to make a decision. He's at his best cutting to an open spot or driving to the basket when there is an opening.

Williams has been given minutes and he looks rushed and trying to force it. How to fix him?
Shoot, we just internet fans, we don't know the guy.

Of course he's also had moments where he does something good and you wonder why he can't do this all the time.
Needs to be put into situations where his BB instincts don't conflict with what happens to be the best thing to do at any particular moment in the game.

This is really just a product of the team working things out. Fish is over time going to settle on lineups that work best but you can't know what works best without some trial and error. This is a deep roster and not everyone is going to play, but Fish gets bashed for using so many players anyway. It's not as easy as people think. Game situations and match ups impact lineups as much as the individual players on our team. IMO they're getting better but still have a way to go in terms of a really solid rotation and lineups that operate at a high level.
We are .5 game from 8th seed and 1 games back from 4th.

Are you sure that Fisher will eventually settle on a lineup/rotation that works?????

So your saying we have a shot at first place!
I randomly came across the eastern conference standings. Saw the results and decided to post up where we were in the playoff race. Nothing more or less. I threw the info in this thread since it was the nearest match.
A lot of teams have similar records right now. Interesting to see who will break away or if it will be like this all season

As Affalo, Porzingis and Galloway's minutes slowly creep up (and maybe Lopez too, he's likely dealing with something) this will take care of itself to some degree.
