Knicks · Folks, Steph Curry Is The Greatest Of All Time (page 1)

FireWoodson @ 11/20/2015 12:10 PM
I know basketball. I know basketball because I play basketball, I watch basketball, I go to D-League games, and I have a number of nice Knick shirts from Modells.
I know basketball.

I have seen the legends. Not just the greats, but the true LEGENDS of the NBA.
I have seen:
- the Big O
- Wilt
- Kareem
- Magic
- Kobe
- Jordan
- Shaq
- Lin
- LeBron
And though I didn't see Bill Russell actually play ball, I did see Bill Russell when he hosted "Saturday Night Live." He was phenomenal.

That makes me one of the rare few who has actually seen all of the all-time NBA greats. And I have to say....Steph Curry is better than all of them. Simply the Greatest Of All Time. Last night what he did against the Clippers to extend his team's win streak to 13-0 was mind-blowing. It was fitting that the legend Derek Jeter was there to see it, and even he couldn't believe that an athlete could be that great.

Steph Curry -- the greatest NBA player in history.
Put it in the books.

No Tyler Hansbrough?

Jordan didn't become Jordan right away. Give Hansbrough some time. Believe me, he's on his way to becoming a legend. Only problem is the stupid coach on the Hornets doesn't give him playing time. 14 minutes total in 12 games! You think Jordan would be Jordan with that?

no... good point. He just needs more playing time.

Of course Tyler is 30 now... but thats just logistics. Carry on

Jesus was 30 when he began preaching. Most would say he became a legend after starting at 30, no?

Jesus had the Phoenix Suns training staff and didn't have any "miles" on his tires. Hell, he didn't even play a game between birth and 30.

No... not according to this:
Away in a Manger

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.

The stars in the sky looked down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.

The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,
But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes.

I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle til morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever, and love me, I pray.

Bless all the dear children in thy tender care,
And take us to heaven, to live with Thee there.

The dude had songs written about him calling him "the little lord" like right after birth.

So no... Tyler is waaaaay behind Jesus by that age. Jesus had great production right out the gate.

The "little lord"? You really want to compare that to Hansbrough being named "National College Player Of The Year"?!?

A song written about you is big time in your mind? Let me ask you, you want to win "National College Player Of The Year" award or have a song called "Do The John Wall"? I rest my case. Lyrics about you are nothing but hype. Hansbrough's achievement is reality.

so now the son of god is nothing more than hype? Gotta say this chat has really been a blast-for-me

Hype at that young age isn't real. Let me ask, you, if that hype at such a young age were genuine, don't you think he would have had an outstanding carpentry business when he got older? "Son of God," "The Little Lord"...wouldn't you hire him over some guy with a sign that just reads "Achmed -- Licensed Carpenter"?

he made great cups, the best ever. Did you not see Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade? Who made that cup? Your donkey the hype manchine Tyler? No.. it was Jesus.

Starting to appear that you dont know basketball at all, and your nothing more than hype yourself. (here comes a mommy comment)

FireWoodson @ 11/20/2015 1:19 PM
I know basketball, I know religion, I know movies.
The "Indiana Jones" movie is a movie. I know that it's a movie -- not real, while you think it is a history documentary. Now have your mommy explain to you that Sean Connery is a spy and Harrison Ford is an actor and they really didn't find the Holy Grail.

Ill ask yours... shes in the living room cleaning. Hopefully she loses weight. Your mom is so fat she walked in front of my TV and I missed 3 shows
FireWoodson @ 11/20/2015 1:24 PM
Your mother is so fat that when she goes to the movies she sits next to everyone.
bigbasketballs @ 11/20/2015 1:27 PM
The TV one was funnier.
fishmike @ 11/20/2015 1:29 PM
Woodson... your mom is such a ho, I could have been your daddy but the dude in front of me had exact change

the only thing that doesnt belong is Woodson's mom on a beach. She's so fat someone called PETA so they could put her back in the water.

Which makes sense... because she's also so loose that banging her was about as much fun as throwing a hotdog down a hallway

FireWoodson seems to be getting under some folk's skin of late with his "I know basketball" declarations... but I think this thread shows despite his superior knowledge he's down to earth and approachable if you want to have a good debate.

I think he's found a good woman.
