A win is a win... We dominated for most of the game

Definitely, and the announcers didn't mention it.
I had the OKC guys...they are homers, IMO. Small town stuff.

Yeah, I saw the same thing. It reminded me a lot of Reggie's foul on Greg Anthony in the 1995 playoffs on that last inbounds.

There was no passing angle. So the bad play was on Lopez. Fish also takes some responsibility because he did not call a timeout. Kidd would call timeouts in these situations during that 54 win season because Woodson was also clueless.
OKC really helped us out, there. Westbrook shot a godawful three with plenty of time on the clock. Waiters got a good look but it just rimmed out. WHEW.
Just glad they actually scored down the stretch, even though it was painfully hard for them. I don't know what happens to their free-flowing teamwork when the clock hits 6:00 in the 4th. At that moment, EVERYBODY gets tight and starts playing not to lose.

Rolo should've called timeout. I mean, really, panicking up 3 with 10 seconds to go and you have possession and two time outs??? CALL TIME OUT
Whatever, they won, and Fish can show them tape and teach them from this.

this.
One thing I'll say - kinda impressed that Westbrook didn't go for 40+ tonight on the Knicks. They mostly contained him.

It doesn't matter....Knicks won
I agree, but it does kind of matter. Why wouldn't Calderon catch that? Either you draw a foul or call a timeout. It's not like he's a terrible free throw shooter. Those are the kinds of brainfarts that will cost us down the stretch.
Swishfm3 wrote:yellowboy90 wrote:DId Fisher actually keep Calderon on defense instead of putting in Gallo after a timeout? this coach is on another level
lol...I was wondering the same thing
Posting for about 10 minutes on this.
They actually had Aflalo guarding Westbrook.
Gallo had 5 steals, did as well as can be expected against Westbrook.
Unless something happened to Gallo, this was a rather large mistake by Fisher, IMO.

He did some good and bad down the stretch, but we got the win, so i guess they off set
Did hit those foul shots.

Really? Okay I have to see that again because to me it looked like Calderon had a chance to catch that.
Well right now I'm looking not TOO bad on the Game Picker yup yup.
OKC's roster and rotations are weirder than the Knicks, I have to say. I don't get their team AT ALL.
In the end we won a close game we could have lost but should have won easily.
This is the type of game a good team somehow wins, even if it's ugly.
Nice start to the road trip.

Agree. Not sure about the Kidd reference.
Also, my main take away from this game was:
Are we sure Scottie Brooks was that bad a coach?
Again we should have won this game by at least 10

I actually remember this happening a few times - if Kidd was on the floor he would call timeout in late game situations after a made shot.
When we sucked though how many of these did we have against good teams..go down big then a futile attempt at end to come back. Glad we on the other end.
