I'm reading Phil Jackson's book "Eleven Rings". Here he describes his approach to coaching a season:
" . . . during the first twenty or thirty games of each season I'd sit back and let the characters reveal themselves . . . Let's see how each individual expresses himself. Let's see how the group responds under fire and whether it's capable of solving problems."
So if Fisher is doing the same thing, it explains a lot about . . .. WHAT'S DRIVING US CRAZY WATCHING THE GAMES (!)
