not hate but I despised his play. At least I had a good beef. I have been tracking his passing the last few years more closely than anyone.

I had high expectation when phil came in here that he would change melo and when it did not happen fast enough I got really steamed and tilted.

melo haters and melo lovers are equally annoying. I just try to be objective. He played well last night but played poorly tonight...its that simple

He didn't play poorly. If any other Knick had his game he'd be called out for a nice contribution.

14 and 6 doesn't grow on trees in the NBA.

There may well indeed be Melo lovers. But there is a third category as well. They're in the "can you really not let Melo go 15 mins after a road win?' camp.

its ok to have nights like this sometimes but not too often if you are the super super star. He needs to constantly create shots for his teammates. He does not understand that this is a priority.

what kind of super star at his level never has a 10 assist game? None.

I wish barkley could show him a few things.

Me and you have had this discussion about Melo before. You dont like that Melo aint the player you want him to be. He is not a facilitator; he's a scorer. Has been since HS. @ 31, he's is not all of a sudden going to turn into LeBron, or Wade, or Harden...He's more Iceman, Alex English, Bernard King...Once we accept that, perhaps we will stop putting unrealistic expectations on him. GM's get paid millions to compliment certain skill sets with the right players.
