This guy is so great I can't believe that we could have had him. Him Melo and KP would be a real big three.
If we got lowry we would not have gotten KP so I'm not super mad but I wish he ran this team.
To me, he is moving into the top 5. Certainly pushing Harden out the way Harden is playing.
What IF the #1 pick you gave up to get Lowry turned out tp be KP, would you still be pissed we didn't get him? A risk anytime you trade a #1 pick.

I am happy we have KP but that was almost pure luck. Not getting Lowry was just plain stupid.
Grant over Lowry in 2016.
lowry has 39 points tonight and playing toe to toe with steph. Derozen keeps calling for the ball like a dope.

of course nixluva
and lowry misses a FT to tie the game
Lowry is 29, while he would have made us more competitive, still not enough to put us over the top the next 2-3 years IMO. Hopefully Grant is the answer along with shoring up the roster. I believe Grant can be a starter in this league, but we wont really know until he's had extended PT with the starters.

lowry would have made us a deep playoff team. Him and Melo would have been absolutely sick and those 2 and Tyson.
would have made melo olympic melo

It would be stupid if we just had Lowry and gave up a franchise player in a unprotected 2015 first round pick

Wasn't that the pick that would have been moved? I think things worked out for the best. I am always afraid guys that play like Lowry are going to get hurt. They are easy to root for if they are on your team because they play so hard. Also, once Grunwald was reassigned the Knicks were not doing anything to help Woodson out. The guys that desperately needed to be moved because they were so disrespectful to the coach were moved the year after he was fired.

I doubt it. He was pretty passionate about getting Woodson fired that year. Melo misses 1 game in November from strep. Tyson misses two weeks in April, drops 20 lbs, doesn't show up for the playoffs and calls out his teammates. Not buying that. Tyson is currently nursing a hamstring injury. Not a contract year.
If we had gotten Lowry, NO CHANCE we get the 4 pick last year. We would have finished much better.
So, I'm glad we didn't get him as we would have no KP right now and I prefer KP over almost anyone.
Yeah but there's no way this could have happened. A more realistic awesome possibility would be if D Jordan had signed here. We'd be one of the top teams in the east.

The dude is playing well now, but he won't keep it up. He started fast last year too and started to decline as the year went on. That said, I wis we had a shot at him in free agency. I wouldn't give up a draft pick for him tho.
