Curry is at .387 ... I have never seen such a stretch of domination in any sport.
KP leading the knicks in WS48 with a very good .149 (excellent for a rookie)
The game is now less about the stupid showboating dunks and about smart play, team play and efficiency.

he needs to improve his playmaking. his usage:assist ratio is over 2:1 which is unacceptably high.

i think i heard he is in better shape this season. he was always a bit chunky but he's playing leaner now.

The team started off red hot going 27-7 to start the season. They finished 15-18 and then got swept in the playoffs. I know DeRozan had a horrible groin injury. Not sure specifically about Lowry but I think he was very disappointing in the playoffs.

In December 2013 when this trade was on the table and we had Melo, Tyson, Shump, JR, I would have killed for this trade.
One of the things that stopped it, I think, was that Dolan was debating hiring Phil Jackson at that time. I sort of think Phil may have put the kibosh on that trade, or at least Dolan did, which led to Phil. And Phil led to Porzingis.
So I look at that missed trade as losing the 2013-4 season of maybe getting to the second round of the playoffs, maybe ECF... but gaining 15 years of Kristaps being a potential franchise player.
We weren't able to trade the 2015 pick, but if we had Lowry, our record surely would have been far too good to get KP.
Life is weird. This one worked out okay for the Knicks.
Though I agree with the overall idea that we need to dramatically upgrade the PG position. I'd love to add Mike Conley, but we'll see what Phil can do.

The trade that really burns me is Charles Smith for Mark Jackson. And Dyess for Camby/Nene. Sometimes the best trade is the one you don't make. Can you remember a time when the Knicks made a trade where you were like "wow, that was a really great trade and really a good decision for this franchise."

Yeah exactly. We saw what happened with Garnett in Minnesota. You can have a magnificent player but you still need a GM, President, and owner who make excellent decisions.
