Knicks · Talent Wise, we should be able to compete tonight (page 1)

However, Dallas' sideline give them the upper hand. Dallas has one of the best tacticians as headcoach. The dude knows his Xs and Os, and knows how to motivate and get his players to play at a high level. Fisher is no match

So you're predicting a loss then?

mreinman @ 12/7/2015 2:50 PM
hhhhmmm ... is this a game thread?
arkrud @ 12/7/2015 3:22 PM
Dallas is better team in any respect including coach.
So win will be a surprise and over achievement.
We should be competitive zo... unless will play like with Bucks.
nyk4ever @ 12/7/2015 3:39 PM
lol let's make it about the coach? so tired of the same shit from the same people
Nalod @ 12/7/2015 4:23 PM
Dallas is a surprise thus far in the season. Carlisle is a coach with a good LONG EXPERIENCED track record and was a good hire for them.

A former player who perhaps underachieved in Detroit he has grown into a good coach. 11 years an assistant and on his third stop, his 9th as a head coach he won with Dallas.

He is now in his 26th year after playing 8 years in the nba. One losing season as head coach.

Too bad Phil don't know anything about coaching otherwise he'd have tried to hire some unicorn mystical man who can take the past and make it better!

Kemet @ 12/7/2015 4:36 PM
Coach Carlyle dictate the majority of the offensive plays to all FOUR of the Dallas Mavs tier-2 PG Deron/Felton/Harris/and Barea .. this will give us a fair chance of beating Dallas half-court offensive system.

Fisher half-court offense starter lineup did not have a chance for a win vs Miami coach Spoel up-tempo offense, or the Bucks coach Kidd uptempo offense .. the two uptempo teams gave us 4 losses already.
Our starter lineup has no chemistry or communication on how to get back on defense vs a up-tempo running team.

BRIGGS @ 12/7/2015 4:46 PM
Id like to see us use Derrick Wiliams for 24 minutes but I think Im spitting into the breeze.

No, you're just spitting where no one involved with the NY Knicks organization is.

franco12 @ 12/7/2015 4:58 PM
I'm predicting a loss, but we should be able to hang a bit - it seems- and this has been the case for a long time- that young, athletic, tall, quick teams give us problems.

I still believe it was coach Carlisle who put together the Piston championship rotation lineup in players Billups/Hamilton/Prince/Ben/Okur/Corliss .. We should have hired Carlisle the year after the Pistons fired him to control Marbury decision making at the point.

Im still a fan of the preseason 24 minute lineup of "Quinn, D.Will, Lance, Gallo, Grant"

What happens when Fisher beats him with his crappy rotations and all-star laden bench?

What is the excuse at that point?

Saddest game thread title of all time.

I agree dwill needs some of LT's minutes... I love LT's defense but d will is a pure scorer and I feel with minutes could put up big numbers.

He might be poking fun at Morey. Morey pissed a lot of gm/owners off with his business approach.
