It's time to get with the times Melo needs to be the four. Our best line up hands down is
KP
Melo
LT
AA
Jose
1 centers don't want to come out on KP and if they do he can move right by them
2 Melo needs to be the downlow monster he can be he's a mis match nightmare for opposing 4's and he's big so defensively he holds his own prob better then them he can guard 3's
3 LT is our best defensive player who can guard 1-4
4 KP is 7'3
I'd say this is probably going to happen but fish isn't that bright
this would work if we were willing to play small ball. Not if we stay old school.

I liked the dallas line up with Felton, DWill and Matthews on the court together. Not sure what that would look like for the Knicks. Calderon, Galloway, Afflalo, Melo, KP?

It seems like that's how the NBA is evolving... KP is strong I'm not worried about him getting bullied he's a tough kid he is our future center and I think the future is now
When can we trade Lopez and Seraphin? Oquinn can't be worse.

I know Lopez more so he just doesn't seem to fit ... I like some of the things Lopez brings but again he just seems to not fit
We cannot be running our offense through Lopez. But we can through KP!
You forget that Rolo provides cover for KP in the rebounding game. Yes he is slow, but with a dynamic penetrating point guard that can shoot also get into the lane for easy dump offs to Rolo makes the job easier. Grant in time could be that guy but his inexperience is showing a lot.
How about a Rolo for kemba walker trade ... He seems to be loosing minutes to Lin
KP
Melo
LT
AA
Kemba
Charlotte can give the rains to Lin and Rolo gives them a shot blocker they don't have.. Plus the Jackson Jordan connection
Jordan owes Jackson lol

You have to have Lance in your lineup dude. He is our best defender thus far

Yes Lance needs to be starting
KP
Melo
LT
AA
Jose
KP can destroy opposing centers as Melo can destroy opposing pf's

Rolo has been very disappointing. Unfortunately my prediction of Rolo being a really expensive Dalembert has come true. I really wished I would have been proven wrong. We are now seeing why Portland did not have him on the floor down the stretch.

Small Ball??????????
KP - 7'3
Melo - 6'9
LT - 6'8
AA - 6'6
Jose - 6.3
I love talking about our best line up and how this should be our starting line up
I just don't see fish changing ... He coaches scared and it really shows

that would be interesting but as long as melo does not break small ball (which he usually does) and that everyone becomes willing passers. Small ball needs a billion passes. AA and Melo don't usually like passing especially quick passing.
If phil can get them to play real small ball I think that is a dangerous lineup.
Also, no lazy azz boxing out like tonight. They need mad desire every minute like Dray.
Small ball is great if you are willing to do what it takes.
Lets also remember that the knicks won 54 games playing super freak small ball.

the future is not now! Why can't you handle that? Its the best thing for the team.

this is why we need a like / dislike buttons.

small ball is not really about height. That lineup would get crushed on the boards if we play a big lineup and did not burn them with small ball play.

I love the idea! Kemba would wake up our team and penetrate which we don't have. Lopez adds nothing to our team. No offense and little defense. But I hate Melo's game too!

This I could see working.
