Rondo is shooting the ball much better too

U-G-L-Y. He has the Empire State Building charging towards the hoop and he throws a low pass behind him...

KP got fouled on one, bad pass on the other and missed a gimme FT line shot.
Mainly they went with him at 5, Melo at 4 and all of a sudden they got better play on BOTH ends.
Closed the half strong with that lineup.

The coaches have to realize that RLO can only be used as a token starter (first 7 min max of each half) and the rest of the time he's an insurance for Porzingis at the 5 spot in the case on FT or injury.

Fisher had the right idea tonight: play Vujacic, who is probably the only player on the roster that is 100% convinced that the Triangle can work.

But Vujacic probably isn't enough at this point.

I'm sort of pissed that Pau Gasol wasn't willing to come to New York last year. Steve Kerr, too, of course. Would also have been nice to get 2 or 3 types like Shannon Brown, Lamar Odom (when healthy), and Artest to aid the Triangle start-up.

I'm pretty confident that KP is a Triangle guy. Maybe one or 2 others on the roster will come around. But may take 2-3 years to find some more . . .

Getting fouled by the little guy...no call.

Has to learn to flop, I guess.

mreinman @ 12/10/2015 11:42 PM
the knicks are so not used to running.

Barkley made a great point. The knicks don't run down the court, they jog! You can't play fast when you jog.

I do need to add that Melo needs to stop throwing it into Lopez though.

It really does seem like they're freezing him out. Maybe the vets are mad that KP was the story after he almost brought them back in the Dallas loss?

knicks1248 @ 12/10/2015 11:42 PM
he passed a 7 footer the ball by his hip on a fast break...geezus

Oquinn was good in the first half. Much more suited for this offense than Lopez or Seraphin. Grant really needs dleague time when they get back.

Yeah...thought it was strange.

KP did not have a ton of space, but to wave him away like that seemed odd.

its their fukking designed offense!

Phil needs to intervene. Fisher is going to lose the team soon

So true.
Needed to get some timed suicide drills in then.

Something weird is going on with the team and KP. You can see it on the floor.

It is what I have been saying man there is 0 excuse for us to EVER rely our role players to score outside of the flow of the offense. 0 whatsoever.

Hope we see more of that in the 2nd half. We also need our guards to be FAR more aggressive in attacking the D and not just being Traffic Cones out there. Too much RoLo handling the ball and not enough of the guards calling for A screen and going with a 2 man.

mreinman @ 12/10/2015 11:47 PM
I don't like Afflalo and his passing is plain brutal but he is the only guy who runs his balls off every night.
