Knicks · Anyone catch this last night? Isiah: "...because New York's not for everyone..." TNT crew: LOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL (page 1)

This is classic.

Sorry, thought we could use a laugh after last night.

Oh, Isiah.

mreinman @ 12/11/2015 11:32 AM
yup we talked about it in the game thread.

I must say that Isiah is very likable in studio.

Moonangie @ 12/11/2015 12:37 PM
Holy cow, that's some funny shyte. Gotta give props to Isaiah for laughing at his own gaffe.
GustavBahler @ 12/11/2015 12:39 PM
Can't believe Isiah didn't see that coming. That was funny.

Yes, Lord Ezekiel Thomas would actually be a very charming affable dude, if not for the harassment thing, the Jerome James/Eddy Curry/Steve Francis/Starbury years, James Dolan closet love affair, and pretty much his whole tenure in New York.

Erase all that bad (Though it's an elephant mountain pile of shyt bad), and he'd be a heck of an analyst. NO JOKE!

Nalod @ 12/11/2015 2:57 PM
Isiah has always been great on TV. Isiah took the joke in stride. It was funny as hell!

He did take it in stride. All you can do is laugh at that point.

matt @ 12/11/2015 3:16 PM
I got the feeling that he didn't get what was so funny and was just laughing to not be left out. I think he thinks NY was "for him"

He's a likeable person, which is why Dollan hired him back. I never though Isiah got a fair share of the back lash. Just like Rolo is getting now. It's not Isiah's fault that he wasn't ready to have so much control of the knicks....or....that Rolo wasn't ready to be the focal center on a knicks team that lacks talent. Isiah would've been great as a talent evaluator. Rolo would've been great as a backup center. Only in NY, do we (Dollan) try to hit a homerun with players, coaches or GM's that may not have the experience or just not ready yet.

Furthest thing from the truth... they do it everywhere. Its just always expected to WORK here.

It happens all the time in sports - you sign a guy for a lot of money and expect him to live up to that.

Seattle signing Robinson Cano away from the Yankees comes to mind.

Milwaukee signing Greg Monroe comes to mind.

Us signing Robin Lopez, too. Could we have gotten him for 4yr $40M instead of 4yr $54M? Who knows. But you can't give him the Tyson Chandler contract and just expect him to become Tyson Chandler.

Rolo was a starting center for Portland and here he is only good enough to be a backup?

Only because we run the wrong offense for him and don't have penetrators that can make him more valuable.

Point guard is an issue. Correcting it could help with the perimeter defense and scoring opportunities for guys on the court. Seems like a pretty basic fix.

not that easy to find a viable PG. If we could have, I am sure he would be here.

Really wish we went for Cory Joseph over afflalo. Afflalo is doing ok and consistent for his career but he does not facilitate for other at all. He is really a sixth man and should not be starting.

Afflalo 3pt is way down and he would probably do better at the 3 but then he wouldn't get the post touches that he is legitimately great at (scoring wise).

Do not get me started on Joseph. There were so many ways the knicks could have afforded him and afflalo but maybe he wanted to go back to Canada. I do know but I think a starting job and the same money would have been enough. Then again Phisher would have probably kept Jose as the starter.

Funny moment...real laughter-good stuff.
