I had a sense he did this. Early in the games they were actually feeding KP. I had to rub my eyes to make sure. I think KP played poorly simply because he was they were surprised they were passing to him
Okay . . . I still say that Afflalo and Williams are decent pickups by Phil Jackson.
That doesn't mean they'll work out in long term. It only means that they might.
Vujacic is also pretty okay for what they expect of him.
But Lopez isn't doing enough for his salary so far. Disappointing.
And Calderon is the player I have hardest trouble saying much good about. His defense is painful to watch.
I was surprised how well Dwill and melo played together. Didn't expect that
If I was supreme ruler the next time Jose stops the knicks fast break or cuts under a pick I would sit him at the next instant and send in Jerian to send a message of accountability. Actually if I was a supreme ruler I would do that regardless. I think Jerian will play better and more consistently if he was surrounded by melo and AA

I think he is playing poorly. I think teams are adjusting to him. He had amazing offensive rebounding numbers to start the season but they have declined. Teams are adjusting. I think Porzingis is going to be a hof but I think it is a process. He is a quick study but you have to expect teams/coaches to recognizes his strengths and weaknesses and start to game plan around them. To not do that would be stupid and not thorough.

Don't get me started......I said he should start simply because he can play the SF and PF.....Gives Melo some flexibility on who to guard. With KP, he can't guard most SF...and quicker PF's. But Dwill, Lance can guard both positions.
I think between Melo dominating the ball....and Rolo dominating the paint, it's hurting KP. Then when KP is at center, he's not strong enough to hold his ground, and gets moved out of the paint, which minimizes his rim protection.
I still want to see Grant and KP play a 2 man game.....
Agreed. DWILL can play the 3, which allows Melo to play the 4 which he is most effective at and once KP gets stronger, he will be able to play the 5 and provide some offense from that position. All three can score inside and out with this frontcourt.

That makes both of us!

Just remember Jerian n KP only 17 minutes of floor time together ALL SEASON!!! WTF FISH???
BTW..Westchester Knicks won again tonight led by Jimmer! I can honestly say that I'd rather watch Jimmer start on the knicks rather than Calderon and just let him jack up shots; at least he's not afraid to shoot and would apply some pressure on the defense!

Unfortunately I agree. Phil has stepped back to let Fish be his own man, but man, Fisher sees things way too slow. He's also stubborn. Phil was stubborn, but he saw things very fast. He believed his way was better, but knew what the weaknesses were. Fisher, I don't think sees the weaknesses in lineups and match ups etc.
Really need to let Rambis even take a bigger role in running the team.

He is playing poor tonight. The surprise comment was just in jest but it was weird that they were actually running plays for him
Let's see who fish runs out to start half. Fingers crossed Jose is on the bench. He needs to stop talking about accountability and start acting. Jose is just not effective in that role if he doesn't shoot
Also I think a lot of people are overreacting on rolo. He adds a lot to this team as he did for Blazers. He's being misused to start the triangle. Maybe someday he can contribute there but right now he just consumes 5-7 seconds w no play development.

The key for KP is to keep moving and use the curls and pop out off down screens for easy shots. He kept trying to drive from too far out IMO! Simple remedy is get the ball in space on the move.
I called it, that dude is going to score 50
thats right melo, shut these critics up.
Finally these refs are jokes
melo bringing the knicks back... on melo's terms.
i've seen this movie before

I agree. Especially about Rolo.
More weakside and it seems to be working
AA doesn't get enough touches
Carmelo's season stats are good overall. And he's still getting feet back under him from injury.
But his mind is not a Triangle mind so far. Will he ever get the idea (?)
