Man, I LOVE Afflalo in that low post. He's practically automatic down there.
It's a great bread and butter offense with Melo on the bench.
I tell you guys, all about matchups for us.
Quinn/Williams/Thomas/Afflalo/Gallo gives us speed/length not too much size.
Quinn is better at 5 than 4 as well.
I want to see a stat for the season if someone has it on our play in terms of points per 100 possessions, when we play Porzingis/Melo 5-4, Quinn/Williams, Lopez/Melo or some combo of that vs when we play 2 bigs in the same lineup.

For example....if I was the coach.....I would've brought Rolo off the bench in the 3rd, since it's obvious the quicker lineup with KP at center was working. As coach, I would pulled Rolo early in the 3rd, instead of waiting so long. We are a fragile team that can't handle momentum killing plays. As a coach, I would understand that.
Now I don't usually blame the coach for much, because you're right, they are not on the court. But as a coach, you can help your team by doing suddle things. The good news is that the team is learning to overcome momentum killer plays, which is good for the teams growth and confidence. In LA, keeping guys in longer than they should worked when Fisher played on a championship team. We are not championship ready yet, so wins are more critical than teaching moments..

I agree 100% with the Towns point. he could have just switched KP and Rolo's defensive assignment and it would have been a non issue.
So you would of rather had Rolo guarding the much faster Dieng then right?? Come on now. Rolo has to guard the biggest guy on the court cause he can't guard the faster guys.

Of course they can all play but small is working for you and the pace was too high for koq
I would have benched GALLO with Jose coming back in to close with Gallo, but that's just me...and I'm not Fish
I would like this lineup with KP in for KOQ.

Fish's lineups tonight have been good to me - with the exception of ROLO. Rolo just doesn't look like he fits on this team.
Someone tell me, please: If we didn't have Lopez and Calderon AT ALL . . . what would Fisher use as a starting lineup (?)
And how much worse (better??) would that be (?)
Because I just don't see what Lopez and Calderon are giving us . . .

Fisher is just coaching like Phil did in LA. Whenever teams went on runs, Phil left his players in the handle it themselves. I always thought that was wrong, but it was a great way to let the team learn how to play through it. I just don't think that strategy should be in place for a team learning how to gel together.
