Melo needed to pass it to Gallo

Every time a unit isn't playing well you guys pick something to complain about with who Fish has out there. These guys all can play just fine together and you can't keep blaming Fish every time whatever unit is on the floor isn't playing good.
Of course they can all play but small is working for you and the pace was too high for koq
Small didn't work at all for the 2nd half of the 3rd quarter now did it. It's not always about the lineups. Sometimes it's just that the other team you're playing is adjusting to what you're doing.

This. guys here don't seem to understand that sometimes.

Have to figure that Minny made some defensive adjustments...it was too easy at times for us in the 1st half.
Too many turnovers is an issue, too.
Opted to watch Abby Wambach's last match with the USWNT playing China tonight but glad to hear the Knicks are doing well overall...

You've been waiting all night to find something to complain about but it's still funny how you can try to blame Fisher for these guys playing horrible on both sides of the court in that 3rd quarter and Fish has nothing at all to do with that.
Fish motivates the team during half time speechs...
Fish decided to bring back the same slow starting lineup....
Fish did not pull Rolo when it was obvious that he couldn't guard Towns on those 3 pt shots....
I agree 100% with the Towns point. he could have just switched KP and Rolo's defensive assignment and it would have been a non issue.
So you would of rather had Rolo guarding the much faster Dieng then right?? Come on now. Rolo has to guard the biggest guy on the court cause he can't guard the faster guys.
Something tells me it would be easier for Rolo to guard someone taking mid range shots rather than a player taking 3pt shots.

Because I just don't see what Lopez and Calderon are giving us . . .
Lance is Fisher's favorite player, so you take out Rolo and input Lance.
Either we get killed by quicker teams or bigger teams. Pick your poison.
I rather take my chances at getting killed by bigger teams, which is rare since most teams are going small now.....

If you're playing two bigs you are not playing small ball. They were playing KP and O'Quinn. Slide Williams in for KO and now that's small ball.
crzymdups wrote:Fish's lineups tonight have been good to me - with the exception of ROLO. Rolo just doesn't look like he fits on this team.
Rolo concerns me as well but i think he's just having a hard time adjusting to this offense. He's never been a big offensive guy so it's gonna take time for him to get it down.
Melo 1 assist away from Triple Double! Let's do this!
Melo to Galloway! Beautiful!

How can anyone tell you that?? Nobody knows.
Ref waiting to see if it goes in before making the call
Someone please explain to me why ROLO is back in to close the game? How it makes any sense with the game he's having? This are the type of moves that makes me scratch my head with Fisher. Sometimes it looks like he has not feel for the game and how guys are playing.
At least he benched Jose and brought AA in finishing with Gallo. At least he learned that one last game.
Afflalo in for Calderon. Interesting.
I also don't love Rolo out there right now. Would much rather see Lance with this unit.
I want the win and 1 more ast by the number 7 fella.

D.Fisher must just have a horrible basketball mind then right?? Come on now. I'm sure he has his reasons for having the lineups he chooses out there and not one single person on a message board knows what those reasons are.
Fisher is just coaching like Phil did in LA. Whenever teams went on runs, Phil left his players in the handle it themselves. I always thought that was wrong, but it was a great way to let the team learn how to play through it. I just don't think that strategy should be in place for a team learning how to gel together.
D.Fisher is a very very smart man. He knows basketball like nobody on here could ever even think about knowing basketball but i think sometimes we forget that this team isn't a great team and they still have a ton of learning to do with playing with each other.
