Anthony said he is hopeful to return tonight, but we'll know more closer to game time. Lance Thomas started in Anthony's place on Wednesday, and could be in line to do so again if Melo can't go.
The Knicks showed a tremendous amount of fight without their All-Star, battling back from a double-digit deficit to take a lead with just over four minutes to play. Four starters played over 34 minutes, and the rest of the roster picked up the slack without two key rotation players.
Arron Afflalo, who had been hot recently, managed just two points in the first half before coming alive to score 14 in the second half.
The Hawks are behind last season's 60-win pace, but Atlanta comes in with the second-best record in the East. They may not have a go-to "star," but they're still hovering around the top 10 in both offensive (9th) and defensive (13th) efficiency -- the type of balance that makes a contender. Mike Budenholzer's club has won five straight.

We can win this, I just browse through schedule and i think we can win 23 or 24 games with ease
This is an important phase of our schedule to see if we can play with the "real" teams in the league. We've proven we can hold our own against the bottom tier teams. We also need to know if we can bounce back against a team that worked us pretty badly earlier in the season.

teams are gonna actually have to play much smarter defense if this melo passing will continue. It used to be that teams knew that melo would not pass especially once he starts his move or is in the post.

melo really looks like a diff player.
I like the poise of the Knicks so far. They're moving the ball well and forcing the D to chase and give help.
