Melo, LT and Williams only ones that shot over 40%. You can't win a D league game with that.
Right now it's clear to me that Fish has to make some changes to his rotation and shorten it. One change is definitely neccesary and that's starting Galloway.
I'd go with an 8 man rotation. 9 tops.

As it stands, Knicks are heading for a 32-35 win season. They can still go above that if they get their rotation fixed. I think we're 2 wins better than this - right at 16-16 if we had a coach who ran better lineups or more consistent lineups with today's NBA. This team is good enough to win 40-41 in the league. But I'm afraid we'll wind up closer to 50 losses just based on too much PT for bad lineups. You won't get good chemistry on both sides of the ball if you keep shuffling the lineups every game. Consistency is key, DF.

I agree with most...we don't get any easy baskets at all. All our shots are in the half court set running the triangle. Sometimes it seems like such a grind just to get a quality shot off. We don't push the pace at all or run in transition for easy hoops. We don't penetrate from the guard spot to get some easy shots. We don't utilize the pick n roll to get mismatches. Against good defenses we will not win games like this.
Aflalo has to be better.
LT needs to play more.
Grant needs To play and Calderon and Vujacic need to retire.
They need another player. One who leads and can drive and dish
Most pg's can do this but Calderon can't.

Also, when we start Jose and he has to defend guards like IT, we will always get in a deep hole that's going to be difficult to recover from. IT exploited Jose jut like every pg does against us. Gallo actually slowed him down in the 4th which got us back in it but it was too late at that point.

Problem is cuts need to be unpredictable in order to work. And everyone defending the Triangle know when they are going to take place. Truly have to question a system that is only utilized by one team in the NBA. And one which preaches for those shooting 30% to also shoot the ball. Lakers had Kobe, Shaq, Horry Odom and a sound bench. Bulls had MJ, Pippen, Kukoc, and some of the best 3pt shooters in the league. The Boston coverage just asked Crowder if it's easier covering Melo when you know what spots on the floor he is going to be at, he smirked and basically confirmed the question.
