Knicks · Melo asking for KP to be more of the offense. (page 1)

It's clear the team is doubting the offense down the stretch. Understandable, considering opponents outscored us when focusing on their best players at the end of games. Keep saying we need to have the ball in Melo's and KPs hands down the stretch. Article stating Melo wants KP more involved:

FINALLY. Ive been saying for weeks that they need to use KP more on offense especially in the 4th quarter
nyknickzingis @ 12/29/2015 7:17 PM
Giving KP the ball allows the Knicks to have a clear cut 2nd option. There really isn't a clear 2nd option and it's part of the problem - a lack of a pecking order. You want everyone to be a part of the process but you also want your best players to be able get the ball in spots they can score. The #1 thing this team can do better is find Porzingis off plays where he's in the paint area. Not a direct post up, but off lobs or stuff like that.

Good for Melo to politic for more KP. It's something that has been hard to understand watching games where the team seems to forget about KP. It'll be interesting to see what if anything is done to enhance KP's use in the offense. Melo and KP should be 1 and 1A in terms of scoring opportunities. I'd like to see some down screens set to free KP for more wide open shots.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA I have been saying those same things since this dude was hired. He ain't a coach. A roach? YES.....I know mreinman and Nalod are going to jump on me::::))))
blkexec @ 12/29/2015 7:29 PM
He's not just talking to Fisher.....it's more about letting the team know.....especially Aflalo. This is the type of leadership we need from Melo.

Jump on you for noticing the obvious? Yay

Wait what no shut up and just play?
HofstraBBall @ 12/29/2015 9:52 PM
What I really meant was more Melo and Dwill. At least for Detroit.
Knicks1969 @ 12/29/2015 10:54 PM
How long have I been calling for D Will to share the floor with Carmelo? Since the start of the season. I am not a coach, but I could see that only Carmelo has the knowledge of how to properly feed an athletic monster like Williams. Why have they not shared the court in the past is beyond me. I hope his production tonight will shine the light in Fisher's eyes

I wish more Knicks attacked the basket like DWill. That was an impressive display last night, inside and out.

So after 30 games Dwill has his second really good game.
Do you think DWill is just a wild child who should be free to roam about and play with reckless abandon?

Maybe after many games of idiot play and missed assignments he is starting to click in what the coach's are wanting him to do?

A broken clock is accurate twice a day. I'd say the clock is still doing better than knicks1969. At least a broken clock does not amplify it.
