Knicks · Would we be better off with Hardaway or Grant? (page 1)

HofstraBBall @ 12/29/2015 8:54 PM
Really pulling for this kid but have to admit, he can't shoot, doesn't see the floor well and has no confidence. Do think Hardaway was one dimensional but the bench could really use his scoring. Hope he transforms and we some day talk once again what a good trade it was.
crzymdups @ 12/29/2015 9:00 PM
Grant. Give him a minute. Geez.
CrushAlot @ 12/29/2015 9:03 PM
Grant. Last I saw Hardaway was shooting 27% in the d league.
meloanyk @ 12/29/2015 9:06 PM
Even at age 49, Hardaway Sr would likely help us this year more than Grant or his son
TPercy @ 12/29/2015 9:27 PM
grant. have some effing pstience
BigRedDog @ 12/29/2015 9:27 PM
Really??? Thanks for getting in the dumbest question of the year just before the deadline!
nixluva @ 12/29/2015 10:05 PM
It's just a mental thing with Jerian. When he gets his confidence he'll be a good one. This happens to rookies sometimes.
Knicks1969 @ 12/29/2015 10:08 PM
Grant

Dumb is someone who responds to a question he deems dumb with whining babble. Former 1st round draft pick who averaged 11.5 per game off the bench and would have been in his third year. Grant? And yes, give him time, but you can see potential right away and the possibility of developing into an NBA player and I'm sorry, don't see it. I'm talking about how uncomfortable he looks on the court as a point guard, lack of vision and bad jump shot. Several things to overcome.

He took 13 shots this year. And can't play on a really good team that may compete for the conference finals. Our second unit, not quite the same.

babyKnicks @ 12/29/2015 10:21 PM
Grant.
BRIGGS @ 12/29/2015 10:46 PM
If we took our time. Portis

I was talking about his time in the d league.

Check his d league stats. He is there again I believe.

Much better d l game for hardaway tonight.
earthmansurfer @ 12/30/2015 6:28 AM
I'll take a chance on - 50% FG, 46% 3pt FG% and the rest.

GoNyGoNyGo @ 12/30/2015 8:06 AM
Grant.

I like the way he plays. He is lacking confidence right now. Needs to build it back up.

nyknickzingis @ 12/30/2015 9:49 AM
Grant is someone if he gets his outside shot going, will be a far better asset.
I just don't know if it will happen this year for him.

Also from the little bursts I've seen Grant's defensive potential is quite high.

herkyJerky @ 12/30/2015 10:48 AM
I thought the point of this season was to improve now AND start building for the future. Last year was THJs second year with the club and he didn't look very good. Grant hasn't even reached the 1st half mark of his rookie season. So my vote goes to Grant.
Knixkik @ 12/30/2015 11:03 AM
Grant. It will take time, but he's got more upside. Plus we don't have to worry about his contract, whereas Atl will have to make a decision on Hardaway much sooner.
