Yeah dontae jones didnt even play because of injuries. I remember meeting him during the summer league in 96 with the cast on his foot. Hard to believe we had 3 first rounders that year and none worked out
I'd have Marbs and Curry one and two.
I don't see how Dontae Jones could be number 1, he doesn't register in my memory.

I think he has injured his only season here. He only last one season in Boston after he was traded.
I'd nominate Eddy Curry for all-time worst Knick, at least in my fandom - going back to 1992.
Steph Marbury shouldn't be on anyone's worst list, it ain't his damn fault what Isiah did. To me, Isiah is responsible for enabling Marbury and essentially leading him off the rails. I still sort of wonder what could've happened if D'Antoni tried to get through to him that first season here when DLee, Craw and ZBO got us out to a 6-3 start before the trades.
Steve Francis would be higher than Marbs on the worst list in my book.

I agree about Marbury. Wasn't Jones the third forward taken in the Wallace, McCarty draft? Also, didn't he get arrested for shooting someone?

probably because you'd have no idea what you were talking about, lol (about Marbury anyway). I'm sure that Raymond Felton, Toney Douglas, Jerome James, Charles Smith and Andrea Bargnani should rank high on that list though.
I'd leave Marbury off the list and have Curry as number 1 too. Names that should be on list : Kenny Walker, Billy Donavon, Moochie Norris.

Yes, he was in the Wallace/McCarty draft. Don't know about the shooting part, but his NBA career was very brief.
Frederic Weiss
Marbury
Curry
Melo
I will get all kinda hate for this but it's my opinion based on dollars earned vs. Production on the last three and flat out frustration on the first
Penny Hardaway - was a corpse by the time he got to the knicks
Jerome James - played 1/2 a good quarter in a knicks uniform, then asked to get taken out of the game, for $30M
Charles Smith - all round sucked in a knicks uniform, but the softest display by a 6'10" player not dunking the ball or getting a foul call in the Bulls playoff game what devastating
Also, Mike Bibby was horrendous when he got here.
How has Bargnani not been mentioned?
Maurice Taylor?
Tim freaking Thomas? That fugazi mother f@$&er?!
Larry Hughes got to be worth a mention. Though I'm tempted to put Eddy Curry 15 times.
I would add Quentin Richardson to that list. One of the biggest talkers in the league who was also the worst starting SG in the league with the Knicks. Defense was used as an excuse to start him, but that was overrated.

Seems like during that Riley/Van Gundy era there was such a disdain for rookies. A you can't win with rookies attitude, that's why the cupboard was so bare once Ewing began breaking down.
R.Balkman , M.Bibby, E.Curry, S.Francis, A.Randolph. I mean is there really a end to a list of bad Knicks cause i feel like i can go on and on and on and..................................?
Jerome James, Landry Fields, and everyone's #1: Chris Smith!
ummm lavor postell anyone or jerome james??
