Hey Knicks fans, I made a breakdown video taking a look at some things that have caught my eye so far this season. This includes some new variations they are running out of the triangle offense. Thanks for watching and let me know what you think of the points made.

Thanks, appreciate the video. Unfortunately, even in your video, when they run the right sets, they still need to hit those shots, but often miss open looks. Defensive switching, which looks to be a think of the past the 1st month, is a problem again, as is getting back on defense. Even when they do, they kind of zone it, instead of picking up players at the point. I understand why for some, as Calderon doesn't want the blow by, but trying to avoid it hasn't stopped it from happening anyway. A lot of mental lapses all around, even the coach. Often waits too long to call timeouts to stop rushes, then calls a terrible play to come out of the timeout. Thanks again.

As usual a great video. I think overall the Knicks are still learning how to execute the fundamentals of the Triangle and poor fundamentals will mess up a lot of what they're trying to do. Not only that but just MISSING great looks inside and from 3 has been a huge issue. The team isn't flush with great 3pt shooting. The Knicks don't finish near enough of their bunnies inside and when you add that they don't get a lot of fast breaks or even look to push enough and look for early offense that is a huge problem.

The Triangle execution should get better with time, but they simply MUST get better Guard play. They simply must get more easy buckets per game. We have no one who is really attacking the defense consistently. DWill will do it but we need more than him. Imagine if all 4 guards were able to attack the rim effectively??? Jose, Afflalo and Gallo are poor to just OK at getting to the rim and Jerian can do it but teams are playing off of him cuz he's scared to shoot.
