Melo doing the Chris Paul thing - facilitating early and now has enough energy left to close out the Hawks.

the same bonehead posts showed up when JR hit a billion 3's in a game and couldn't miss. Yay for him. That proved that he was a great player.

It proved that we need the scorer, we just got offseason to score, to score. Not to pass like you fat guys that sit on a couch want everyone to play like. Because that was probably your best attribute as a player 40 years ago. Did you wear a head band and tight ahorts? Wait bad thought, i dont want to know. Let me guess, you hate the way Curry and Klay T play?

well said ... brilliant

Let's not get carried away here.

Playing better in PnR offense.

It's still the Triangle! This isn't anything outside of the scheme!

Grant hits an outside shot! If he can hit that little 18-20ft when guards go under screens on him, it'll change his world. He will be able to drive with impunity.

are you high again

Absolutely! Specially when the Knicks are kicking ass.

Grant STUFFS Mack! Blocks the layup
GustavBahler @ 1/3/2016 5:44 PM
We won this without needing Oquinn or Seraphin, would be nice if that held.
crzymdups @ 1/3/2016 5:45 PM
This was a quality win. But like the Detroit game, you just get the feeling the Hawks went to 1 OAK last night.

Best game of the year for him.

I was in grammar school, going to games, when they frst started playing it. Nice to keep something from that time I guess.

The Hawks were playing hard but the Knicks were moving the ball and hitting shots! If we get a hot shooter like AA was and RoLo makes some of his post ups, this team is gonna look better. Not to mention the Knicks D was much tougher today. It's a legit win! PERIOD!

Obviously he's not Chris Paul - though I have noticed that tactic from Melo in some of their better wins this season. He sits back and facilitates. If KP or Afflalo or Lance is hot (which doesn't happen that often!), Melo will facilitate. If they aren't, he goes into Melo mode. You can see the shift - he still has a ways to go - but it's a start.
