It's nothing but upward for the next 3 to 5 season seasons. This team has some super solid role players, if the coaching staff can't put it in gear, they have the talent like i have been saying since preseason, when people where yelling 30 to 35 wins..
Put these guys in the right role, skies the limit
It's starts tomorrow. This team has to keep the pedal to the metal against the Nets and all these up coming winnable games. They know that they're good enough to beat these teams. Just gotta get it done.
I'll up the ante - I hope this is the last time we're below .500 for Porzingis' career.

this. Porzingis is the man for the next decade
THANK GOD FOR CLARENCE GAINES JR. Dude went all in on KP and Phil couldn't ignore that! They got that one right! Biggest draft in decades and they got it right.
Amazing how quickly the MELO n KP Era has developed! I've never seen anything like it. MELO n KP have bonded and are developing chemistry so fast! KP is not of this world.
Melo has never played with a talent like KP nobody has. I love seeing the chemistry between the two melo is doing his best MJ impression and KP is getting better by the day he's going to be the super star.

Good Point. Gaines is the guy who said that WE MUST draft KP because his upside is the highest in the draft. He was 100% right

+1, 7'3, handle, 3 point range, defense, no visible softness, smart, grounded kid. Completely unreal talent.
Hope Melo comes back intelligently from this ankle injury. Loved that dunk he had on Crowder last night.

Afflalo is doing his best Kobe and MJ impression, he has that post play down to a science I just loved how he stepped up last night when melo and KP went down
Devil's advocate here. Better than .500 would be a short term acomplishment, the intermediate goal needs to be higher and it is not happening with current cast. Dont have a first rd pick this yr, Affalo, Thomas and Williams can all opt out. Melo aint going to get younger and Grant ceiling is questionable. So it comes down to Jax getting other talents via FA to NY sooner than later to go along with KP to make the big leap into true contenders. Back to current positives. Knicks are trending upward and their play is enjoyable to watch . We have a emerging young star who complements our vet star. Making the playoffs in a very competitive East is acheivable with ths group and would be a step in the right direction and provide the visual that entices talent to come here

could not disagree more. Grant was a fantastic CBB player and rookie PGs require patience. AA/DWill/Lance can all opt out yes... why would they? If they are worth a big pay raise I expect Phil to do what is best for the team. DWill and Lance are turning their career's around here. What is the motivation to immediately bolt? Melo/KP/Grant/Rolo/KOQ is a nice core signed for the next 3 years. At the halfway point "trending upwards" is a nice way to put it. Do we have any problems that arent nice problems to have? No pick but good chance Willy comes next year as well... the pipeline should continue to grow as well.

$$$, Thomas and Affalo will likely get more by opting out and Jax may not be willing to sign at higher numbers especially if it involves years

Really, afflalo didn't sign here for money, he signed here because of melo, and wants to be part of the turn around, lance is not even avg 10 points, how many teams will be lined up for that.
Under .500 again..
the knicks are 3-14 when sasha plays
