Horrible and sad? Because he was a football player? Sounds like a bad person who did lots of bad things and was never coming out of jail.

I guess because he was a superior athlete and public person that its even mentioned in the media but its one that gets little attention for all. Was he your hero? Have his poster on your wall?

sad that someone with so much potential fell apart like this. Mental illness and depression is sad ... Not condoning the horrible violence

Of course not. Mental Illness and depression is sad. Is it sadder because he was a running back? Worshipped and fed entitlements to perhaps not hold him accountable and then when his yards per carry diminish we no longer care? This guy have too many concussions? Was his "Potential" as a foot ball player or as a human being?

its sad either way.
