Knicks · Why on earth does fisher continue to play sasha (page 2)

It wasnt so much subbing Sasha as it was an indication that Fisher was taking his foot off the gas. Almost cost us the game.

KOQ is an undersized center and too slow for PF
Jose is too slow as a PG and too small as a SG
Sasha is a tweener at SG who currently can't shoot
DWill is a tweener between SF and PF

Fisher should never have too many tweeners on the floor at one time.

jose is not slow, just doesn't have a quick first step or lateral quickness, but he beats everyone of his teammates down the court on the offensive end

maybe you can find a chart that is updated for the current season, as opposed to last year when he was hurt.

Look, I had we'd be better off releasing him so fisher couldn't use him. I was wrong. Calderon has helped us. Could he be improved upon? Yes, but then so could your stats.

Dont need a chart to know that until the last couple of games, Calederon never drove to the rim to do anything but pass. Dont believe Im going out on a limb to say that he is in the bottom of the league in that category. Its been a problem at PG for a long time. As I said upthread, Jose has been playing with a lot of heart lately, but it only postpones a crucial search for a younger, and more complete PG. Until Grant has more seasoning.

1. Calderone is still light years ahead of Ray Felton. Be thankful.

And back on topic:

2. Sasha doesn't even know enough NOT to pat someone on his dreads. It might just be me, but I thought DWill was going to punch him after that. What a dope.

are we still wondering?

last 5 games. 17mpg, 9pts, 49%fg, 50%3fg.

it gives me NO happiness to be saying this either.. the fact that sasha is playing, shows how thin we are at guard.

Guy behind me at the game started to dump on Sasha and on cue Sasha's play had him eat his words. Sasha put in work tonight and was a bright spot of energy in a dreary offense.

He might be our best guard recently. This organization needs to place a greater emphasis on our guards.
