Knicks · KP vs Little guys (page 1)

It seems to bother him right now, with him posting up and taking some more difficult shots than he meeds to. I can see him developing a face up standstill mid range shot like Dirk next season to negate that matchup and force bigger guys to defend him. Going to take it to the next level when this happens.

Yeah, absolutely. You can tell he just isn't prepared for how to face it. He should just spend some time practicing it against DWill or Afflalo in practice. It seems like one of those things where he'll get there eventually.

I missed tonight's game - but I agree with that.
Who was on him?
I think he shouldn't force the post ups - not this year.
He can shoot over those guys, and he should use his size to get good post positioning for 2nd chance points for rebounds.

Remember he's also dealing with a foot injury. KP isn't a complainer or a guy that likes to sit out. He wants to play every game.

It was Paul Pierce at times - KP did not know how to handle him.

Well I don't care how tall you are.....there's only a few rookies PP would have trouble with......KP is not on the same level as other rookie of the year candidates in the past. But he still has superstar potential. ...next year will be problems for everybody, if hes truly a student of the game.

He needs to understand that if he has a player 6'8" or shorter and is around the basket 12' and in that he only needs to square up and shoot. This is what dirk diggler does. A lot of times he tries to back them down and it does not work.
