While Atlanta has reportedly been listening to offers for both Teague and Schroder, recent talks have focused more on Teague. So far, Milwaukee and Utah have surfaced as potential suitors, and it'll be very interesting to see how this situation plays out. The Jazz would reportedly include Trey Burk and Alec Burks to land Teague, and with Teague underperforming with the Hawks this season, a move away from Atlanta isn't necessarily a bad thing for his fantasy value.
Calderon n oquinn for Teague

hahahaha you're not serious right?? I think we'll probably have to give them someone that can actually play the game good enough to get either one of those two. I'd rather have Schroeder over Teague but Teague is the one that's about to be a free agent so they'll probably try to trade him more than Schroeder.
I don't get this obsession with ball dominant 1 guards in the Tri, who don't defend.
We also don't have the assets that we would be willing to trade for these guys.
Grant/Galloway are solid for what we try to do at 1.
It's at 2 we really need help. We need a 2 that can score 15-20 points a night, and also make plays for teammates, recognize the open man. On offense this is our biggest need. Second big need would be a post up player who can score dominantly inside, since the Triangle has always meshed well with players who are good at post ups.
If we had the 2 guard who could do what I described, with Galloway/Grant at 1, we'd be more than happy.
I'll have Dennis Schroeder please...Phil make it happen!
I think Teague and his outside shooting, as streaky as it is, is a better fit for this team. That said, I don't think we have anything to offer that makes sense for either side.

Schroeder is an actual floor general and would be every bit as marginalized in this system as Jose Calderon and Gary Payton were in the past. Teague would be a far better fit and it just so happens that he'd be most likely to be traded. Unfortunately though, I don't see any deals we can facilitate for him that doesn't involve a pick and at least a third team being involved. But I'd certainly make Aaron Afflalo available to the Hawks, since they need a swingman following DeMarre Carroll's departure. And I wouldn't be surprised if they were a team that actually had interest in Jose Calderon.....we'd have problems making the salaries for those two match though.
we have nothing good to offer

I've got my fingers crossed that either Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight or both become available. I could easily see the Suns blowing things up given how badly they suck and given emergence of Archie Goodwin and Devin Booker at the guard positions (as well as TJ Warren at the 3). Just imagine those guys with Simmons added to the mix via their draft pick!
And the beauty about that scenario is that an uptempo, pass-first, nice-guy, veteran, European PG like Jose Calderon would become even more valuable to a team going through a situation like that. At this point in his career, he'd be a great mentor to their young players and help to stabilize a powder-keg of a lockerroom. Him, expirers and a pick would be all it takes to get something like that done if Phoenix does, in fact, want to rebuild.
As for all the issues Bledsoe and Knight have had with each other, I feel that the triangle would alleviate much of it. Their games and roles would be just like Kobe's (Eric Bledsoe) and Derek Fisher's (Brandon Knight) were with the Lakers. And with the ball moving like it was last night, dynamic ball players like that would thrive IMO.

I think the Hawks really miss Carroll. They would be interested in Thomas and DWill. The question is, are we interested in sending our 2 most productive role players for a starting PG with Teague's skill set.
I don't think we would, but to answer your point, I think we do have something good to offer if we wanted to.

This is an interesting point - Lance and DWill are two of our most important players. In a lot of ways they are system guys for us the way DeMarre Carroll and Bazemore are system guys for the Hawks.
I sort of think the Hawks way want more than a system guy for their PG... but it might be worth thinking about.
Though, really, I'd rather keep DWill and Lance and add Mike Conley in the summer.

I agree that Grant and Gallo can get the job done, but the coaching staff is not really looking to use those two correctlY. Until Calderon is traded, look for him to continue to be our starting PG. we don't really need a SG, Williams fits perfectly in that position next to Carmelo, KP, and RoLo.

I pray to God we don't trade neither of those two guys

Williams hasn't played the 2 all season....and it stands to reason that if he has problems defending forwards, he'll be even worse on guards.

If you think so, then Lance. He is by far our best defender/two-way player

Agree. We could get a deal done. The question is does it help us.
what the team really needs is more talent, not more balance. The backcourt is not good, but its not terrible either. One would think we are back to Toney Douglas and Mike Bibby and we are not.
I do think we could send Grant/DWill type package for Teague and that would help both teams. Losing DWill would really hurt. However trading DWill also is a sell high, and he's going to opt out for more money.
Tough one...

Derrick Williams is the guy the Hawks could use right now. Deal would have to be structured around Derrick and Teague.
If we trade Derrick we can't trade Thomas in the same trade. We just can't.
I think Derrick Williams and Calderón for Teague and maybe Mike Scott gets it done.
Teague would make the Knicks a playoff team.
For those thinking we can trade for Teague...put down your crack pipes. We got squadoosh to offer in return.

simply not true. The question is if the Knicks want to pay
